I’d just like to add that I also am not interested in showing what I’ve printed on the profile page. It is just another example of Bambu Lab not having much sense when adding new features. It should be optional and it should default to off.
The side effect of this is a lot of photo reviews are going to be deleted to get rid of them.

There are more bugs, especially when selecting the pinned models:
I’ve selected the marble machine because in real life it has only 6 makes. I’d love to get the points for those 870 makes though!
And the recent makes is disturbing indeed. Multiple platforms have this and I don’t think many complain (because they knew that they would be visible before uploading makes I imagine) about it but dropping this unannounced and unfiltered seems a bit strange.

I was encouraging them to blame me. Haha. I was hyped over the idea and didn’t consider how it would come across. For all the times I suggested it, I never thought to say “oh, this should be optional”. Mostly I just said I wanted a way to display makes like Printables does.
I think this is right though. I’m sure it’s a bit odd for people, and should be an optional add for folks like me that want it.

I like the idea of being able to post pictures of models but I want the ability to choose which ones are displayed.

I also requested pinned models, or the ability to curate lists for the home page. Glad they are adding this feature but I’m not a fan of sharing my recent prints. I believe this should be optional as others have shared.

I wish i could say “i want this and that to be changed” and they just did it… lucky that they listen to you, unlucky us that have a d1ck whistle on our “recent prints”

Hey @Tanklet You 100% need to add the ability to hide “Recent Makes” and have recent models fill the rest of the page like before. I don’t want to have my prints posted publicly to my profile page like this. I’m sure there’s many others that would feel the same. Thanks!

Haha, well, I mean, I have been asking for a year! It’s one of the things I usually bring up whenever they ask for feedback on the site.
The last time I did one of those surveys, was not long after using Robinhood’s new “Robindhood legend” which lets you arrange things in a widget like manner. I was telling them we need that on the landing page. Where we can select from a few different things to possibly display.
It’s a step forward and a step backwards. If they can tweak it to make the recent prints optional, then I’d like to say it’s a step forward. A step may not always be a leap, but a step can still be a step.

@MakerWorld - Showing “recent makes” should be optional with opt-out the default.
It’s invasion of privacy.

I kind of like it, my preference would actually be a bit different
8 designs pinned as a grid, and then all models right below (instead of the recent + makes)
It’s not bad as it this, the suggestion above would be only my personal preference
It would be really cool if it was customizable, but I think that would stress out the designers of the site as I’m sure they want to have a cohesive approach across the board

To be honest I’m amazed 6 people even attempted this model so I am pretty confident the 6 is closer to the real number than the 870. But who knows, there are 8.2 billion people roaming this clump of clay…

I hear you brother, the last 15 things I printed were ■■■■ whistles. When I deleted those it just kept moving the previous prints to the top. Next came the TPU ■■■■■■ ■■■■ and after those the fuzzy skin ■■■■■■■■■■■■ popped up! I’ve been deleting print pictures for the last two hours, thanks a lot Bambu!
