The new "Home" for profiles

To a causal user browsing for models to print, it does. Perception is reality.

Do you mean this?

  1. User A bind the printer, then print Model 1
  2. Unbind user A with the printer
  3. User B bind the printer
  4. User B can see Model 1 on the printer screen

If so, this was because the .gcode.3mf file is cached in the printer for your easy re-print.
Maybe it did not distinguish which user sent this file.

On MakerWorld, different account should only see their own prints/ratings.

Accepted. We will do this optimization.

You’re asking the wrong guy… I can tell you that emails, DMs, certified letters and having a blimp fly over Bambu headquarters didn’t work.

That’s exactly what I am asking: how was it possible that both @Crow_ck and @Square3D had in their “makes” on MakerWorld makes done by the other account on the same printer?

for your reference:
Square3D’s testimony: The new "Home" for profiles - #105 by Square3D
Crow_ck’s testimony with screenshots: The new "Home" for profiles - #6 by Crow_ck The new "Home" for profiles - #87 by Crow_ck , The new "Home" for profiles - #63 by Crow_ck

@tanklet Surely those who achieved the “top 100 designers of 2024” would be the ideal Achievement to include.

MaKim are you a wizard? Is your Photoshop enchanted with some sort of arcane magic? I’m asking because when I woke up this morning I HAD THE CHECKMARK!!

Apparently MaKim just has to will it in to existence

MaKim better do a photoshop for me too since it clearly worked for you and i am also waiting for ages for them to acknowledge my “verified” status
After all, it’s just a checkmark, but for some it means something, sort of an achievement that was promised but not delivered, even after going all over the steps and rules they provided.

Checkmark please?

Be right back I’m off to Photoshop 25 lbs off my photo to test it out.

Maybe I should also do the badge for myself if that’s the secret trick

I thought you had one? So now I feel a little guilty, everyone in this thread deserved to get it before I did.

Hey! Where’s mine?!?

Nah, you need one too

Hmmm. I guess it doesn’t count if I just add :white_check_mark: to my profile name.

I checked the new “Recent Makes” and all of them are my prints - that’s good.
An interesting thing is that it also shows models that were deleted and don’t exist anymore.

@Tanklet Can you add the ability to sort models on the following two places?

  1. Collection
Currently the models are listed by the order of selection. The most recent added ones are listed first. It will be helpful to let creators have the ability to rearrange the order of the model freely after their inclusion in the collection.

  2. Model page.
Allow creators the ability to rearrange the order of their models. Currently it’s default to time of upload and have options to sort by downloads, boosts and likes. It will be helpful is creators can arrange the model so similar models can appear close to each other.

This is only a temporary solution while MW works to give creators the ability to group models into sections.

  1. Sort models in collection
Accepted. I have added this to our plan list, although maybe not in recent release.

  2. Sort models
    We will consider this.

Could you add a filter on the collection pop up when “collecting” and sort them into alphabetical order, currently they appear random, there definitely is logic to that random order they keep changing to, but, I have not worked it out yet.

Would it be possible to add archiving for private models? I’ve been trying to clean up my model page and I have several models that I’ve made private for one reason or another. Since I don’t want to delete them they take up space on my models page and make it difficult to visualize how users see my profile.
