The wait ends on March 25! šŸš€

By no means is it a stretch to happen eventually. I just dont think it would give a proper result anytime soon. I think they’d want something that gave a solid results out of the gate, being Bambu Lab, no tinkering, Apple of 3d printers and all that…theres arent many scanner that exist now (specially under 1k) that are scan and go results

Thank me later :innocent:

Well rotary would be out , which would leave an additional x/y looking at the image above wouldnt you lose to much build volume ?

Wonder if thats the stepper or the servo that lifts the heads.

This is promising(encoder). Pretty amazing rotor too.

Translation says servo

True, they could team up with someone as well which would streamline things for sure. I was speaking of something that might be in this printer or something very near future, I just dont see it happening, but fingers crossed. My pessimism in not thinking we’ll see it soon is my last couple years 3d scanner shopping and seeing limitations and how much post processing is still needed on resonable priced scanners that wouldnt put the printer price above 5k easy. Yeah I might foot the bill if the results were quality but i dont know the general product vibe on something like that so i’m just thinking it might be a little while longer before we see something like that

It is a closed loop servo system, we see here.

So looks like the remaining pictures are:
Exploded Servo (20th), Lidar (22nd), New AMS w/ Dryer (23rd), Picture of the complete H2D (24th) or maybe some sort of Laser.

Anlaşıldı ki biz bu yazıcıyı alamayacağız. Çünkü uƧuk bir fiyatla gelecek zaten dolar da 40 tl ye doğru koşuyor.

Ooze protection makes sense, and now that, IMO, clears up what the secondary actuator is for on the bottom left.

Thanks!

That tiny servo definitely lifts the nozzle. looks like the bottom of the nozzles linear rail actuats the flap. Pushing it out of the way when the head is down.

I wonder if theres another one on the other side, or theres some other magic we cant see

Probably spring loaded. no need for the green arm.

Why would it only cover one nozzle ? its difficult to see and i cant make out wether or not it moves far enough to cover the right hand sided nozzle and be out the way of the left nozzle

I’m pretty sure it will slide from one side to the other or be a part of a two arm mechanism (for each nozzle). I’m not trying to fully flesh out the systems, that’s not possible. Just looking for possibilities. I’m also heavily biasing opinions on the patent drawing, and the patent drawing would not require much to switch from one to the other.

True. The patent drawing would require the nozzles be stationary. Mounted to a mechanism that rocks the whole unit side to side. like ^. I think because this design here. with the lifting nozzles, is already patented by stratasys. As was shared yesterday. through ultimaker.

my 2 cents…
a 10w laser for carving on amazon (with air assistance etc…) costs about €270; a creality ferret about €300. now I’m not an expert in engraving lasers or 3d scanners and I don’t know how to read the technical characteristics of both lasers I mentioned, but they should both be low-end quality but personally I find a cheap laser scanner 10 times more useful in a 3d printer than a carving laser. and at the cost level for bamboo it should be more or less the same
(excluding software development). I don’t know how the print bed would behave with a carving laser and personally I don’t find it very useful. a laser scanner would make the new printer a no-brainer purchase. just the possibility of inserting a piece into the machine and having a replica of it would open up an infinite series of possibilities both in terms of reverse engineering and for reproducing spare parts for everyday objects

Im looking at two parts one there does appear to be a cog on the arm itself which would suggest a little movement to the right when extended
the other one is they dont actually appear to be greatly connected , which would have me believe its only motion is forward and backwards
@just4memike

I don’t think anybody has mentioned this, but how hard do you think it will be to perform maintenance on this extruder? I’m guessing most will probably buy another complete toolhead, but what do you think?

  • Easy to maintain
  • A bit difficult to maintain
  • Hard to maintain
  • Very hard to maintain
  • I’ll just buy another complete extruder

The March 20th send to be an exploded view of something, I think that’s why it looks so funky.

Also, that yellow part that everyone is speculation about… Can’t believe no one guessed what it is. It’s obviously an released version of the Wahl Peanut! In anticipation of 3DP nerds foregoing personal hygiene, this will probably help. Sorry, can’t post links or embed media.
