The dual extruder in a small printer would kill 1/5 of its x axis
What about something like an A2 mini? Could extend the X arm a bit to allow both extruders to reach the whole build plate?
Lol it may fall over on fast x movements. Heavy head. Sorry man.
Think of this. The prusa xl is prusas prosumer printer. Costs 5 grand if you want 5 heads and an enclosure. The core one did not get 2 toolheads. Because it would be a direct competitor to the xl.
My dreeeeams
A1 mini x 4 with a centralized rotating z axis
I was thinking it stood for “Hello, 2D” or something since it has a lot of tools for making 2D stuff (laser, plotter, cutter)
Were focusing on features that will enable capabilities previously not possible in 3d printing
Yeah, but it’s clearly 2d oriented as well.
image to keychain ? , everythinng else coming through bambu/maker/world/lab is 3d orientated ,
No…the upcoming “2D Models” section on MW and the laser/plotter/cutter on the H2D?
Hueforge ? that went down well . seems you got more questions than answers i havent caught up with yet ,that or im just holding my breathe for a recycler , still one of the only things not available in consumer 3d printing
No, not Hueforge. The 2D model section will be for uploading things for the laser/cutter/maybe plotter. It’ll allow uploading SVG as the equivalent to an STL, or an LAC from Bambu Suite as the equivalent to 3MF.
I searched bambu suite yesterday , couldnt find anything , and didnt you already state in a thread that was about farming ? , (the wiki link)
Yes, it doesn’t exist publicly yet…
Maybe it will be a 3D laser cutter… hahahahahaha
Lets buy some wooden blocks just in case?
So basically a cnc? What I want for next gen is non planar 3d printing with FDM and Resin printers. Resin printers are going to be much easier to make non planar because it doesn’t need to deal with an annoying metal printhead.
I can only imagine that the features will be software based. With 4 cameras and lots of sensors, I imagine there will be some AI tricks.
All I care about is the Aurora Tech Channel review.
