Nope. You can use the external holder - or whatever.
Oof okay, guess Iâll be ordering a second AMS 2 Pro then ![]()
Well it seems the protective green âglassâ windows are just plastic sheets. And reviewers already state that there will be a lot of residue buildup. And that people who want to lasercut/engrave a lot, would be better off with a dedicated lasercutter. And that even from sponsored reviewers. So imagine the ones that will come later and who will be criticizing more.
Just like a few people here mentioned already.
Guess itâs worthwhile to get some info first how it performs over time, instead of brainlessly spending over $2000 on release⌠Because itâs BLâŚ
The first releases of P1S, X1C, A1 also had itâs flaws and had some modifications, or even callbacks over time.
Residue buildup was the main reason I went with the âstandardâ version, well and also because I already have a laser machine. Just hope theyâll make the cutter/plotter available as a separate purchase down the line.
No you canât.
You can only feed the 2 nozzles from either one AMS or the external spool holder. Or from 2 AMS-units while using a AMS-hub like on the the P1S/X1C.
So that means there will be still a lot of printing time and waste while printing with more then 2 colors or materials.
And not to forget the printing tower, which has a lawsuit going on at the momentâŚ
Even more so that the laser will leave charring on the edges
but they say regular maintenance should keep any build up to a minimum (quick wipe down after use
I assume this Hub would just work fine then with the H2D, even though itâs not mentioned?
I wouldnât necessarily use more than 2 colors, itâs just nice to be able to print from a sealed container (especially during longer prints).
Agreed the ability to have two materials will be occasionally useful for me too.
Not sure, it will depend on the connectors.
But while they say the old AMS should be conectable on the new H2D, we probably may asume that the connectors will be the same and that the old hub might be usable to connect more AMS units on one nozzle.
But chances might be that you might connect 1 AMS to ech nozzle without a hub.
That might be practical for people, especially when they already own a P1S or X1C with old AMS.
Got a question,
I have a P1S and want an AMS 2 Pro however i am unsure what to buy as on the store there is this Ams 2 pro upgrade kit, that is the power cable and a fillement buffer and i believe a 6 pin cable. Also there is just the power cable availible for sale. I know that the power cable is for the Drying however i would like to know if I HAVE to buy the fillement buffer and the 6 pin cable
Thanks
IMO, H2D is trying to do too much in one machine. My studio has a 50W Co2, a 30W fiber laser and a bunch P series printers.
Even with two high power 6inch exhaust fans attached (I need to wear noise canceling headphone when the fans are on), cutting wood and cardboard with Co2 laser generates so much soot and smoke residues (the smell) onto the interior chamberâs surface, it canât be good for the greased Z drive shafts that are exposed. Among of cleaning you would have to do is more than I want to deal with.
If you want to do the job right. Get a dedicated machine for that job. If you want to mark 3d printed parts, then go with a fiber laser which is about 100x faster than gantry based system.
I see people cut plexiglass with Co2, which produces highly toxic fume that are often links to cancer carcinogen. Large fabrication shops use waterjet to cut plastic for that reason.
I hope Bambu Lab is working on a 4 nozzles printer with multi-axis print heads.
Itâs a great printer for some, and a bad purchase for others. You need to use our discretion to decide which, and youâve clearly decided that itâs not for you. Thatâs 100% fine, but letâs remember that some people (including myself) do have decent use cases for it and find it to be a fine product (at least on paper). I definitely want a 4 or 5 axis printer, and a toolchanger would be great as well.
I will tell you, if it wasnt for gift cards and the fact I was holding off on purchasing the X1C for whatever the new print was, I probably wouldnt be buying it lol. Thats where Iâm at and why Iâll prob get the 10w laser version to have the option, but prob never use it cuz it takes me good bit of motivation to clean my P1Sâs now (and i have a 10w Creality Falcon), i cant imagine the effort its gonna take for me to clean this bad boy. I also held off on purchasing a lot of other prints, like the Centauri Carbon based on the price alone, so its a reward for the simple fact I cant hold off any longer to get another printer. Had the Centauri Carbon given something like a 350mm printing area, might be a different story
I also received this email, but Bambu Lab store does not ship directly to TĂźrkiye. Now we will wait for it to reach distributors in TĂźrkiye.
Ich wohne in Ăsterreich am Arsch der Welt.
I havenât seen the info, but the machine comes with 2 nozzles, 2 HF or one of each?
It comes with 2 standard nozzles, non-HF.
Wow, just got FedEx Tracking from Bambu - that was fast.
92 lbs - hopefully less damage than was seen with K2 deliveries.
Iâm jealous⌠the laser version isnât shipping for at least another month ![]()
no way really ? it says on the website shippin etd 03 april ?
