I ordered at 0801 after quickly verifying that I did not want the laser edition. Stock ran out around noon EST.

weirdā¦ well say meaby later, the date for me was 02ā¦ then once paid it said 03 lo
I misspoke - probably finished checkout at 10:02 - email verification timestamped 10:03.
I did miss out on getting some add-ons at 20% off - would have liked some extra hotends and a smooth plateā¦
Now that the wait for the 25th is over, the wait for shipping/delivery begins. Ha, and you thought the pain was over!

I opted for the standard combo, still on the fence about the maintenance involved with having laser cutting/engraving in a 3D printer. Looking forward to it turning up

You aināt seeing nothing out those cameras after awhile lol, prob have to replace em, boom, Bambu gets more of yo money. Genius device from a shareholders perspective tho lol
Everyone with a laser says that since the first rumors I have to clean my laser all 2-3 weeks. I didnt want that stuff in my printer chamber

Im hoping 40 hours of laser work(like in that photo) is alot. Like 40-120 projects. I dont have a laser, so im not sure how long it takes to etch something. The video made it look like it mah only take 10 minutes
Theres a lot of determining factors and 10w will take longer than a 40w obviously, prob require more than one pass to cut something (if it can). Iām curious to see how powerful of a suction you can get from the filtration. Plan for the inside of the machine to stink pretty much indefinitely though

For everyone wondering I talked to a bambu sales rep and they said from the large amount of request for the blade cutter to be separate they plan on releasing it by its self around June along with the external laser air pump package
According to CNC Kitchen, the built-in single speed benchy took 23 minutes. Actually slower than my X1C, even 2.5 years ago. I guess H2D wonāt cleanly obsolete my X1C after all.
@NeverDie did you happen to notice if he remembered to put it in ludicrous mode after the benchy started? Had to do that on the x1 and p1s for the fastest benchy
I think it will go faster, but the lettering on the rear of the benchy will disappear. Heavy head.
Im wondering if we could use a testers paint pin in the plotter to paint things permanently.
How do you get the above youtubes to stop playing by themselves?

It seems that he did not. First Stefan printed a benchy that he sliced using orca slicer. That print took 47 minutes.

The second benchy was the hand tuned one that comes on the SD card or the like. AFAIK, running such a print in ludicrous mode defeats the purpose, since a hand tuned benchy would already be constructed for the perfect tradeoffs between speed and strength.
