Am I dreaming? Two people even commented that one of the parts failed but blamed themselves for bed adhesion and just reprinted . Surely I’ve jinxed it now
The use of the word “skibidi” would imply another 12 year old. It’s pretty brave of someone to post a non-sense two star rating when they have models listed themself. I went and looked and he himself has a two star rating but it seems more deserved lol. I noticed he has a YouTube linked… when I went to the Youtube it only has three shorts, all about his chopstick holders… the same chopstick holders that 15 other people have uploaded. Now here’s the kicker, the Youtube links to his Patreon. For $5 a month you can have access to his chopstick holders, that’s all he has there. The same chopstick holders he has on MW for free.
Might want to add people with levels 11 and 12 to that list.
I just got a 2 star of my Lions Coaster Set. Dropped my overall rating from 5 to 4.5. I reported it, but I have not had much luck with support lately.

yeah i think too many inexperienced young kids are on here, probably got the printers from parents for the holidays because they are so affordable, downside is they probably massage their build plates with “chicken nugget” fingers causing adhesion issues then simply blame the design…
This is a new one for me. It’s not from Makerworld, but it’s still ridiculous. I can only assume their reasoning went something like this…
Step 1) Create a fake review with a three year old picture from a random forum and upload it as a make on Dr_Operator’s Thumb-Chucks model in an attempt to discredit said model.
Actual source of the picture is Hovercraft - overnight spaghetti - 3D Printing Gallery - 3D Printing Space
Step 2) Create and upload a knock off version of Thumb-Chucks
Step 3) Profit lol
Update: Makerworld has deleted this post and rating.
I know I have to make a print profile that makes sure the print comes off the build plate already lubed, but still trying to figure out how I can make that happen.
I might have been a bit snarky in my comment though, but this happens so much that users complain before even reading the description or reviewing the images. Most of them don’t rate directly and a few bad ratings are part of the deal. But it was just funny to me:
2 stars followed by “yep, my mistake!”
This is quite a claim, I’ve only ever actually had one other person ever say this and it was someone who was stalking me from Reddit and spammed all of my models with similar comments so MW actually kicked their account - the wording is a little similar but I can’t assume. It just seems so on the nose but only after asking - weird
Hmmm… Dunno what they’re doing wrong… However when I printed your spillproof boxes, some corners wrapped a bit, but I just trimmed the wrap so that everything was flush and the boxes work wonderfully. I blame the wrap on several things, but certainly not on the profile
I have reported this users rating and post to Makerworld numerous times and they have done nothing about it. I have finally given up.
yeah they dont care i have many reported that just get ignored. I think they gave up on Customer Service in general very hard to get action or responses. Last one i got removed took me opening a ticket but it took forever that route also and they try to tell you to report it , which doesnt work… i guess we are on our own now.
I got that same notification “To give a 4-5 star rating, at least one successful print record of this print profile is required.” so I uploaded a successful print profile, but that didn’t fix the issue. Can’t give the 5 stars until that notification goes away.
Just had this little turd troll spam my feed with nonsense comments. The idiot was following one person who when i looked at it showed their main account which i previously blocked for similar activity (notice the similarity in names" notarickroll" and “notanalt”… so creative). I opened a ticket linking both accounts and requested both are banned for harassment.
Bambu really needs account verification system so these kids cant abuse it and those who do stuff like this are held accountable, repeated violations should get a permanent ban.
Maybe we need some kind comment slow mode that prevents anyone from posting more than 2-3 comments an hour on any given model.
I noticed a similar situation starting to develop on one of my models the other day, but I was able to block the user after just a few comments.
I already reported it, it’s a PLA profile obviously. I feel like new users should be required to take an e-learning with a quiz to pass before being allowed to rate
Not only that. They should stop this rubbish that you can’t rate higher than 3 stars via Bambu Handy if there’s something wrong with the print.
I recently tried one of those dragon chainmails. I used the Frostbite plate for it because of the many small contact points. The end of the story was that I couldn’t get the chains off and had to destroy everything I cancelled the print and gave the profile 5 stars on the PC. Everything worked perfectly, it was my own idea with the plate with the better adhesion
Once again, this is a kind of automatism that has simply not been thought through to the end.
Here’s an amusing one
Today I experienced a typical “3 star problem” with rating. I printed something using Bambu Handy and got a notification “Slicing failed” but a few seconds later it somehow fixed and then everything printed perfectly (I didn’t do anything, didn’t click on anything). Later I wanted to rate the print but turned out I cannot give more than 3 stars I found a “workaround” of this problem and finally rated 5 stars (I wanted my 10 points lol) but many other users usually don’t care about someone’s rating.
I think this 3 star rule should be either removed or modified somehow. If I have photos showing a successful print I should be able to rate more than just 3 stars.
