It’s not like the tolerances are that precise though, it only took me like 20-30 versions until I was happy with it
Mine are and I am swimming in prototypes for all things fidgets.
@Zammer3D Rather than generating multiple iterations, you clearly need to put more effort into making fidgets with adjustable tolerances
Gonna just chuck a bunch up here:
This one is just confusing ^
(I forget if I’ve put some of these up before, hopefully there’s no dupes!)
And also @MakerWorld I have like 100-200 reports I just made of 1-4 star reviews that either are an issue with bed adhesion, are an issue with the model (not the profile, which is what they’re reviewing), or are completely bogus (like the above). I’d appreciate you approving the reports and removing the reviews. And maybe only allow bad reviews if they have an explanation?
And for everyone else, I hope you had a good laugh
Why do you have issues with the 4-star ratings?
A 4-star isn’t a fail and there are always people who hold off because they know better.
It is easier to leave that person to their issues.
I have a couple “rules” i’ve made for myself that helps deal with bad/weird ratings and to sum them up: don’t let it get to ya.
This is quite common TBH and all those people remind me of my middle school maths teacher that wouldn’t give top marks to a person who won the regional maths championship (I bet her reasoning was that it was local, not national. And if it were national, she’d probably still wouldn’t give top marks because it wasn’t international)
I don’t, Bambu does. I have to keep it above the four star average to get the profile points, so that is what I’m trying to do. If they removed that requirement I’d have no issues with getting a four star review If people think the profile is bad based on the reviews or review score, they won’t print it. No need for silly averages.
Getting 4 and 5 stars will keep it above the 4 rating.
If you get unfair ratings of 3 or less, report them if reaching out doesn’t work.
4 isn’t a negative.
I get the idea of hoping all will be 5 stars, asking someone who rated the print profile as working rather than perfect is a bit much.
My concern would be some might consider lowering the rating because it might appear ungrateful.
You do you, I am NOT saying you are wrong.
I found this thread trying to sort out the “To give a 4-5 start rating…” problem. I printed a model successfully, but Bambu doesn’t seem to have a record of it, so it wouldn’t let me post a 5-star review with pictures. So I wouldn’t lose any sleep over the 3-stars, this is absolutely an issue that needs to be addressed.
Did they accidentally paste a text message from their phone in the print profile review??
Is that a ChatGPT ratings bot? That sure doesn’t seem like human written text.
Alright I promised myself I wasn’t going to add anymore but this one bothered me a lot since it’s the very first rating on a design I’ve spent over 100 hours working on. The design requires hardware so I figure it would take a week or so to start getting real user reviews and feedback which is fine plus it was already over 15 boosts so I knew people were interested in the design only to get this as the first review…
Umm… huh?
Positive Comment. Boosted. And 3 stars. Go figure.
Not worth contacting them as this profile has 25 ratings with a 4.9 star average.
This is definitely a 3star caused by initial print issue. Contact them to have them remove the rating and leave a comment instead and it should be fine.
This is what happened when I suggested that the user should be sure the bed was clean and if he was used to using brims, that he should. “The fact I have to slice it myself and wasted filament on your profile that didn’t work is why you got 3 stars. I suppose I can be nice and edit it, to 2 stars. Ass.” Keep in mind may users and myself have had successful prints. The remedy that I suggested was one I myself had to use for the original designers model.
i feel all feedback should have to include a picture to show there was actually an attempt to print the file… i keep getting sabotaged by level 5-8 people with zero prints and anonymous accounts dropping 1 stars with no real reason i.ei " fails 4 out of 5 times" while i have over 2k prints and over 4 stars for most other ratings
Then the number of ratings would decrease significantly. Many people just don’t want to / don’t have time to take photos.
But I agree that 1-2 star ratings should include a photo.
