Thermometer holders for Temperature Monitoring in P1S

To remotely monitor the chamber temp, I designed and printed these 2 thermometer holders. Easy to see via the P1S’s camera feed.

In case others are interested. Feel free to print, copy, mod…

Welcome to the forum!

I have the same digital temperature sensor in the same place. The camera works great to check in to see when the chamber is to temp.

Looks like your P1S and my P1S are a little different. I don’t have that metal rail that you mount to, so I’m going to have to play around with it some. (Is it a converted P1P?) Your case design is solid, the only one I’ve seen that holds the probe as well as the meter. Very nice.

Got my P1S direct from Bambu Lab in December 2023.
Weird that this rail is not on yours.
Jon Raymond’s (reply above) seems to have the rail too.
Would be great to see a pic of yours, so that other redditors can be alerted to an existing difference out there.

Note: the rail is also in Bambu Lab’s 3D CAD model of the P1P that I use to design widget for my printer (they didn’t publish a model for P1S & X1).

The metal rib that this mounts to is in all P and X series printers. It’s part of the metal skeleton frame. It is higher up in the printer than you might expect. It’s about an inch lower than the top glass but above the motion system.

I like that idea. But I’m lazy so I just nano-gel the hygrometer in place instead. Stole the idea from a gentleman I forgot who

May have been me. Doesn’t matter.

I have a new one though, no stand, just the little one that came with it and some doublesided tape.

I keep meaning to come up with something but it honestly doesn’t need any more.

Sorry for ■■■■ pic, printing for wife.
