Anyone have issues with the collet springs not being springy? On the AMS hub I can’t insert the tube and have the collet grab it - it’s lost it’s…springyness. Solutions?
Sometimes a clean cut ptfe helps with the connection. Just for accuracy which hub precisely?
Got the hub apart. This little toothed ring is what came out of the “collet.” I’m thinking it’s not going back in.
So this is the issue. Need another one of these tube connectors that for inside the AMS hub. Not seeing them as an available part in the store. Anyone have a source?
That part shouldn’t come out, good catch. I’ve seen people clip the black one out of these, I’ve looked also and cannot find them as a spare anywhere.
