I have been printing all day today (many small prints and prototypes). At 8:40PM EST I sent my next job down and got this error.
Rebooted my machine, rebooted the printer, still failed. Duckduck’d the error code and ended up here…
I have been on a VPN, using the same server, ALL DAY (Thursday Oct. 2nd). Why is it suddenly blocked now??
Its clear Bambu Lab has a problem with VPN. I start having the same problem with X1C. I turned the VPN off and that worked. Please, developers, the software is amazing. Is it a problem with Windows or Bambu lab software? Thank you.
I just had the same issue with a new Windows 11 PC
"Bambu Studio HTTP error code 60 is typically an SSL certificate issue that prevents the software from communicating with the Bambu Lab cloud servers. It is often related to network or computer-specific settings rather than the printer itself.
Here are the common solutions recommended by the community and Bambu Lab support:
Common Fixes for Error Code 60
Synchronize your computer’s clock: Out-of-sync system time can cause SSL certificate validation to fail.
Windows: Force a time sync in your Date & Time settings.
Run a command in CMD (Windows 10/11): This command helps ensure your system has the correct root certificates installed.
Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the following two lines separately:
Check Network/Firewall/Antivirus Settings: Security software can sometimes interfere with secure connections.
Temporarily disable any VPNs, firewalls, or antivirus programs to see if the issue is resolved.
Check your router for enabled QoS (Quality of Service) settings and try disabling them.
Reboot Network Hardware: Turn off your router for 10 minutes and then back on. This may assign you a new IP address, which has resolved the issue for some users, potentially due to a server-side IP blacklisting issue.
Switch to LAN-Only Mode (Workaround): If immediate cloud printing isn’t necessary, you can switch the printer to LAN-only mode and send files via your local network or save them to the SD card for manual printing.
If the problem persists, ensure both Bambu Studio and your printer’s firmware are up to date, and consider contacting Bambu Lab Support directly for further assistance."
The Certificate Utility command prompt worked to correct the issue with the invalid SSL certificate preventing the PC from accessing the Bambu Cloud to print. Issue resolved!
Check the laws where you live as well. VPN use is under attack by various state and national governments. I don’t know whether this includes actions that would interfere with a home network only VPN (yet), but keep your eyes open.
I am using Nord VPN on a mac os and I don’t seem to have an issue. Currently running Bambu Studio 2.4.0.70
and on iOS. No issues. I would rec checking your network connections and insure your VPN is hooked to a local or authorized country as that’s the typical issue.
Just a FYI: I have an XTool M1 Ultra and it exhibits the same issues as you are having. Turn on VPN and it won’t work, turn it off and everything is fine. That “problem” seems to be hard coded into the machine firmware(?). I really don’t think it’s any type of “problem” except to be an inconvenience to users who want to take back some sort of control over their privacy (chuckle, chuckle) like myself. I assume that that is wholly intentional to track, invade privacy and assert even more control over the user.
Of course there will be denial all around but just think about it for a minute.
I also have a WD Ext2 Ultra which has issues when VPN is on but that turned out to be an update issue and a tweak of some settings in Win11 took care of it.
