We just bought our 3rd H2D. The first two directly from Bambu and they have been flawless. The third one from MicroCenter and it has been nothing but problems. The primary issue is that it continues to give us the error “Unable to recognize the left and right hotend.” If I tell it to recheck sometimes it will see them and look like it’s configured but when we send a print to it the error pops up. I even tried switching one hotend with the extra one they sent but still the same issue. We are on the latest firmware. Has anyone seen this?
Have you tried running the liveview camera calibration, camera might be the issue
When you click on « nozzle and extruder » in the menu and select « read nozzle info », what do you get?
I’ll try the camera calibration. When I click on Nozzle and Extruder and select Read nozzle info sometimes it reads them and sometimes it’s doesn’t. Same nozzles every time. When it does read them correctly we get our hopes up but them when we send something to print it gives us the error, not a minute after correctly reading them, “Unable to recognize the left and right hotend.”
Honestly just take it back and it exchange it, within 15 days they have a no questions asked money back or exchange. I had to do that with my first H2D from them 2nd one works flawlessly.

Microcenter has a great return and exchange policy. I would exchange the unit as defective if I were you.
Microcenter was great. Filled out the return online. They scanned a barcode and took it back with no questions and we walked out with a new printer. I’ll set it up today and see how it goes. Thanks for the replies.
I got the same problem… i tried also the camera calibration, it happens randomly
Also noticed if you put manually the extruders incorrectly and you click on read the printer says YEAH OK READED and dont change to the correct ones
