I have a recurring problem with my Bambu A1. I make small figurines and use the AMS to change colors. Very often (but not every time), after switching filament and resuming the print, the extruder moves toward the part, briefly touches a point with the nozzle, and then goes to the purge tower.
My issue is that when it briefly touches the part, it leaves a small drop or a string of the new color in a spot where that color shouldn’t appear. This happens quite frequently during color changes.
The problem occurs with different models and can sometimes change location, but otherwise it always affects the same spot if I reprint the model in the same orientation, even if I move it around on the build plate.
When I print multiple copies of the same model, it usually only touches one of them after the pause.
I’ve tried several purge tower settings as well as filament parameters, but nothing helps.
See the first Panda in the photo.
I couldn’t find anything about this issue on the wiki.
Do you guys have any idea ?
