Updated swatches give away upcoming PETG-HF Colors

Uhh, is it just me, or does the new swatches give away new, yet to be released, PETG-HF colors?!

They only sell 8 colors right now, but apparently there’s 14 colors in the set, 12 of which are pictured in this shot

Look, I’m just excited because I’m in need of new colors, and realizing this, I’m about to make sure ya’ll know too, because it’s not enough that I’m sitting here excited by just myself. I rather like the PETG-HF so far! So I’m jazzed like 1920s musician

I was really hoping the update included both ASA and ABS-GF swatches but sadly it doesn’t seem to.

Ohhhh yeah that would have been cool. I’m really curious about like the ABS-GF in particular.

It seems well rounded enough for the basics though. It does feel short of how extensive their collection of filaments is getting though. Even though I don’t need it, I want to get it. Haha. A good selection of swatches is always handy.

Didn’t you spot my post yesterday?

The same thing is true of the PLA Basic range, with two new unknown entries in the greyscale grouping.

Have you noticed there is a pattern with the product codes each type of filament uses? Each colour type is shown in the sub-type range. My post breaks it down.

I really like this filament. Very dimensionally stable.

There would have been more merit in providing the less popular and more use-case-specific filaments.

If you wish to showcase filaments that require more thought before purchasing, offering a sample for each would help that decision.

Oh very much. I keep a spreadsheet of the filaments I have a stock of, and it’s one of the things I started taking close notice of. It makes me realize the gaps of filaments they don’t offer. Like the PLA Basic Green. The original green. I am disappointed they discontinued it. I still have a roll of it.

I want that 10104!

I totally missed it, by the way. I’ve just been on vacation, and have made sure that includes a vacation from the computer (mostly) too.

I want them all! There’s certainly a desire to have swatches for the specialty filaments. I’d like to have a sense of some of them before purchasing them. At the same time though, I use them for figuring out my color combos. Having all the basics is just as important.

That’s a really nice and clean looking print too

I print a set of filament swatches of my design each time I obtain a new filament.

I use one for the boxes to see the colour and type at a distance and another I use that helps me to use to choose model colours.

Hopefully they will add PURPLE (complete the RAINBOW)
