If you browse through the forum it’s almost impossible to miss the large number of questions addressed by “newbie here” users… questions that most of the time could easily find their answer on Bambu’s wiki, or simply googeling.
Here are just a few example at a first forum search on “newbie”
Hello all,
Looking forward to receiving my P1S later this month once it ships out. Have to admit that this new firmware issue is a little disconcerting for me, having not even received my printer yet. This is my first 3D printer and I hope that Bambu Lab addresses the concerns out there.
That being said, I would appreciate any tips for a beginner to this hobby. General 3D printing tips and also specific to the P1S would be awesome!
Thanks all!
Hi, 3D printing newbie here.
I just printed this part with Bambu PLA White Marble at 0.16 Optimal. As you can see in the uploaded image(see little yellow arrows), it has a little sag at the layer corresponding to the top of the horizontal surface. What causes this and is the a way to prevent it?
Thx

Your guidance led me to find my issue - I had not added a photo of the printed lithophane as a “web / app cover”. I did not know what one was and so left it blank. In review of red asterisks I realized I needed it.
I set up my camera and took the shot, pasted it into the provided location.
I double checked all other red asterisks to be sure they were filled out, submitted the application and it was accepted. After a short wait (~1 hr.) it was approved and showed up when I searched…
Can someone help, Relative Newbie to 3D printing. I found my printer printing fresh air.
Could’nt extrude or unload. Have taken the hot end off and it looks like its full of filament. Do I have to manually remove this or will it extrude on its own.
ALSO
THe other side of the filament coming from the spool is stuck into the Extruder. I cant pull it out. Is there a manual process that will maybe realease it.
Thanks for help.
Hello! So I am a newbie at this 3d printing stuff but I am having issues with my Elegoo Rapid PETG prints, mainly with the first layer.

I have tuned my flow calibration to 0.966 (up from the original 0.95). Although it could go a bit higher according to the flow calibration, I was getting overextrusion on large flat objects causing the top layers to buckle weirdly.
I have tuned my k-value to 0.042 (Manual calibration showed between 0.040 and 0.045, automatical gave me 0.…
