oh… ok so I can replace the SD card or, if I remove the SD card, where the jobs are stored when i launch the print directly from the bambulab studio?
Sure I printed some stuff before I inserted the SD for the timelaps function so should have an internal memory also, but might be worth a try to remove it and print to make sure.
Nope you need a SD card in the slot or you will not be able to print as it needs local storage for the G-Code files.
ok when pla test ends i try for sure, now i’m promoted and able to attach stuff
here other post, i think is the same issue
Bambu handy / printer / settings / firmware version / i want to downgrade to a previous
PLA print seems to pass the critical point, update you tomorrow. Remember that first of firmware update i print ABS without problems, if PLA print ends good i try to print directly without SD card and in second step with the older firmware.
You should probably do what I just did: Exported log files from the printer to the SD card if you need to create a ticket. On the SD I also found some good stuff, recorded videos of when it failed in the ipcam folder. I also exported the g-code from studio and then sent it all in a support ticket.
update: with PLA all prints fine, so now i try to print again with ABS without the SD card, but is a very strange test, i’m leaded more on corruption over network transfer, second update soon.
Definitely would love the link to the components if you get a chance. We run a couple dedicated X1C’s for high temp mats and currently I’ve only edited the gcode to wait and allow chamber to heat up around 45c. But it’ll obviously flux when the heads moving and we removed the whole purge door and lever system while we design a reversed mechanism which leaves the door closed and opens when purging/wipe.
A solid 50-60c maintained would be lovely and just what I could use.
Some kind of corruption seems likely, I saw one interesting thing on the videos on the SD card, it was like a portion of the clip was just cut away and missing when it jumped to the faulty position.
update: printing without SD card don’t solve the problem, so i insert back again, now i’m gonna downgrade the firmware for the next test
Have you tested printing from a file on the SD card to rule out network stuff
Will try to remember to notify you once it’s done.
yes, same problem, starting to happen just printing from lcd front panel
Even if you slice it and save it to the SD on the computer and then print from the SD?
yes indeed
BTW print downgrading to 01.07.03.00 from 01.08.00.00, dont solve the problem, i notice that with ABS the bad is hot to 90° instead of 55° of PLA, room temp stay at 48° instead of 38°, maybe a temp issue?
Is frustrating now because some weeks ago i print abs without problems, actually i dont know where to investigate…
I try another PLA print to confirm that this happens only when i print with ABS profile.
I just purchased a sunlu s2 dryer for some tpu and doing a bit of homework came across this
However, if the drying temperature is too high or the drying time is too long, the filament may become deformed or become brittle
could either be a reason for the prints to fail in the way they have ?
I dont know, i fail prints with sunlu dryer and without the dryer, so i dont think is the cause. When the head go crazy and shift, the last layer printed is perfect, the issue happened while i’m watching, seems to be a mechanical problem, now the point is what generate this issue.
