Awesome.

If I remember correctly, Thomas Sandladerer found that the particulate levels were the highest right after printing started. I don’t have a good meter to test.

Build your own. they’ve been up on MW for awhile.

Thanks for reminding me about this, I had actually already gotten the supplies in but forgot about the model. Printing now.

Rather build my own. Last (and only) experience with Voxel was not great. To make it up they offred me 2 extra filters for a Bento. Didn’t even bother to include them. Kinda made me chuckle. Glad they didn’t go out of their way.
Also 4.58 to ship a $5 item…

First things first, I’m not affiliated with Voxel or Bambu in any way. Bambu won’t even give me the green check mark for goodness sake and I bought everything I used with my own money. Most astute people will quickly realize that the weak link in this test is the SUPER cheap air quality detectors, it’s all I’ve got currently… I don’t have Thomas Sanladerer levels of money! I have two detectors so I placed one in front of the door and one at the back of the printer close to the fan output.

Ok ladies and gentlemen, without further ado… it’s time for the

So ā€œpackaging and presentationā€ definitely go to Voxel…

ā€œFreebies included with purchaseā€ also goes to Voxel. Who doesn’t love free stickers?? It even comes with a little sticker to remind you when to change the filter…

So on to the testing. Here’s the baseline reading with nothing printing.

This is with no filter, printing Bambu ABS… all stock settings but with the chamber fan on 50%. These were the readings one hour in.

Here’s the Voxel filter. Still printing Bambu ABS, all stock settings but with the chamber fan on 50%. Also one hour in.

My lungs after completing this test.

So the Voxel numbers are really close to the baseline before I even started printing. With the price being the same and the readings being better I definitely think Voxel won. Good job @VOXELPLA !

I’ve found a few.
FYI, found a new nozzle wiper thing on Patreon. Uses the A1 and it’s just to the right of the back lead screw. Needs G-Code and permanent screw holes. How could that go wrong?

I’ll tell you when my A1 wipers get here.

This is without also adding the bento box 2.0 right? I bet if this was added you would get even better numbers.

Correct, no Bento box. I’ve looked at them so many times, but never actually printed one. You’re right though, I’ve heard so many good things about them.

I like that! I need it too, these Revos have been destroying the stock nozzle wipers.

Check his patreon. $12 for the files. Small price to share for the models, g-code.

I would prefer something without the drill.

I might look at it with some significant strength double-sided tape.

i’ve thought about that. The thinner real 3m should work. Would have to be thin as the gcode parks the nozzle right over it and it has to be where it has to be.

I have some, I could try it once those silicone wipers get here.

Some of us have them with our A1 mini spares as they give an extra one in the box.

I have a new BL order ongoing for my bits and pieces, I haven’t live-posted it this time, I hope I do not regret that.
