I love the idea of these, but the cost to ship simply to Canada is out of the world. It’s unfortunate you don’t have a warehousing partner in Canada like Bambulab has. It’s a dealbreaker for me when the cost to ship exceeds 50% of the total order cost.
Does this filter work for Bambu PC FR to filter out toxicity fumes+particles?
Yes, it will filter out VOCs(gases) and nano-particles. Especially the Carbon fiber and glass fiber filled materials.

Bought some from AliExpress. I’m going to be honest here, they don’t really do much. They are far lighter (less carbon) than the OG filter. Better suited to just printing one of the prints that combine the carbon with HEPA or keeping the carbon filter itself. If you have to, get them from Ali, they’re cheaper, and shipping is too.
I think it’s because you got it from Aliexpress. Genuine X-Filter is only sold through www.voxelpla.com. We cannot guarantee the performance of any knockoffs.

Has hepa, has carbon. It’s a solid little brick. Foam on it for sealing.
If I took a silver or white sharpie and wrote VoxelPla on it you’d never know the difference.
Do you have a in house way of manufacturing Hepa filters? Are you mining coal out back? They’re bought from someone and you have your branding put on.
If I’m wrong I’ll admit it. Put up a pic of YOUR manufacturing set up for these. There’s no shame in buying and branding.

Ok, you got me curious, since I ordered some of Voxel’s filters last week, but had not yet opened them up. Just popped one out of the box and removed the plastic:
First thing I see is a 20% difference in fold density. Literally: 16 folds in the Ali Express version, 20 in the Voxel.
Second thing I noticed is the difference in frame size. The Ali express has much wider frame edges. Could be a difference in airflow here.
Third thing I notice is different colored internals. The Ali Express seems to use white paper tube, Voxel uses black paper tube. (But! could also be that your phone brightened the heck out of the photo?) Likely no functional difference at all.
Fourth thing I notice is a different mesh over the activated carbon. Ali Express has a hexagon mesh; Voxel has a knit mesh. Voxel’s mesh is also glued to the tube; it looks like the Ali mesh is simply stretched over the carbon tubes?
Fifth thing I notice is the Ali foam padding is a little thicker, I think? That might be variation in wrapping and gluing, idk. Maybe ignore this one.
Whether these differences are going to cause a significant difference in performance I cannot say. But they are not the same filter coming off the same assembly line, even though they both come from China. One of them is definitely designed to use less material to construct.
Kinda tempted to order an Ali one so I can really compare them.
Update/edit: $6 from Voxel and $5 from Ali Express. Nevermind, not going to order the Ali one. Not worth it when I already can see the HEPA filter density difference. If the Ali one was half the price I’d do it. But to save $1? not worth it to me.
You do you. Paying $4 shipping for a $5 item is a bit much. I assume it get’s better in bulk?
The differences you notice are most likely inconsequential. If you feel 4 more folds and knit mesh makes a difference then heave ho.
I’ll tell you though, I doubt it does on either. Given that you’d need to print everything with the doors and top closed to begin to have this useful. For ABS or ASA it makes no difference at all. If you really want to have cleaned exhaust from the printer, just print one of the HEPA/charcoal external filters. Longer life and you can use 2(!) HEPA filters.
If you’re printing a lot of ASA/ABS/PC and other flavors then get a Bento box. Little more work but they do make a difference. I haven’t measure said difference but just in smell it makes things a bit better.
My point in posting this is that Voxel can take a bit to ship, want’s almost as much as the item to ship so maybe pushing multiple. The other fun thing is prints that make this very same thing have been on MakerWorld for awhile. Just print one, buy the filter, buy some charcoal, profit (figuratively).
Yeah, they throw in free shipping if you order 5. They’re consumables with a very short lifespan, so I ordered 5. Should last me the year.
But anyway, like I said: I don’t know if it makes a difference. But it’s quite clear they are not the same product. That was what was being challenged: “identical in every way. EVERY way.” We now have an answer (to your totally valid question!). They’re not.
I have zero data on how much better or worse either one performs. Unless one of us is going to buy both and then devise a testing methodology and then test it, we won’t really know. Maybe we can tempt Project Farm into doing it for us.
For me, personally, 20% more filtration media is worth 20% more price. YMMV. Like you said - you do you. Value is relative.
No argument that a bento box is going to be more effective. 
Both Voxel and Ali Express are selling convenience, not ultimate quality. And both of them have a cost of materials probably around 50 cents in bulk 
I was wrong and I stand corrected. I’ll state now that they are almost identical and probably quite the same performance.

Saying “don’t buy the supertak build plates.
I eventually managed to purchase 5 of the, one for each of my P1S printers and one for my A1 mini.
Horrible plates, too easy to damage, too many parts of the surface broken off the metal plate during removal of models.
One has the bottom of a large round support of green matte Bambu Lab PLA welded to it. Too thin to get a blade underneath to remove it.
Utter waste of money.
I know others have faired better. I wonder if it how I do nit ever need to dry filaments due to my climate (and storage procedures). I wonder if climate means some fair better.
