I’m honestly clueless, only thing that comes to mind is bed temp issues… Maybe the thermal camera doesn’t work too well on PEI.
Before blowing the printer up (lol), have you tried setting the bed to a seemingly unreasonably high temperature? Like, 80C for PLA or something.
Or measuring it in some different way…
In classic chinese support fashion, you usually need to keep pressing for a resolution before they’re helpful. But they also usually will be helpful at some point. Not ideal, but eh what can you do
I’ve run it to 90 and it still falls off.
Just to add I bought my P1S last July/August and it arrived with a Gold Textured PEI plate with NO logo. I only noticed several months back that they had starting adding the logo to the newer plates. So the plate with no logo is genuine, just like mine. Although I have had no issues whatsoever.
They have only recently added the logo.
We’ve got that sorted out.
I’ve given up on Bambu support. Every 3rd party plate I’ve tried works. Every official Bambu plate fails.
Since I am able to use the Biqu cryogrip plates with zero issues I can now at least use this printer. Will I buy another Bambu in the future? I’m not sure. I’m kinda looking at this as a one off (as I mentioned, I’ve helped quite a few others get started with Bambu before and since my issues… Theirs all work very well out of the box)
Print quality has been very good, which I expected as the 3D Fuel PCTG prints were amazing (they never came loose).
Next test will be printing some ppa-cf car parts for a friend.
