It seems constantly my 3d printer seems to forget my AMS and the AMS just blinks red. I have to unplug the AMS and plug it back in. Sometimes I have to unplug it from the back of the AMS and it works. Sometimes that doesn’t work and I have to unplug it from the other end, which makes no sense. Sometimes I have to unplug the printer itself. Eventually it works again and then not long after it starts to blink red again. Do I need to do anything to prevent that from happening?
A few months after I got my X1C I had the same issue with a pair of AMS units. Worked with support and swapped out a bunch of stuff and it was really driving me nuts. Then they finally tried sending me a replace AMS Connector Board (AMS Connector Board | Bambu Lab USA Store) and it hasn’t happened even once since. Not saying that’s for sure you’re issue, but it’s certainly a possibility.
Hi @sprior I have the bambu 4 to 1 splitter ams hub thing. Is that AMS Connector board you showed part of the AMS itself? Where is that?
It’s a small board inside the back cover of the X1C a couple of inches long by less than an inch wide. Replace the AMS Connector Board | Bambu Lab Wiki
Thanks. I ordered it. I’ll report back afterwards and let you know how it went.
