With the P2S and H2C, Bambu has basically ticked off the two big “community wishlist” items for 2024–2025:
-
an evolution of the P1S → P2S
-
a practical vortex-style system → H2C
So… what’s left?
The only obvious “next step” in the lineup would be an evolution of the X1C, but honestly, that feels like a tough product to position right now. The mid‑range and “prosumer” space is already very crowded, and the P2S eats a huge chunk of that segment at a lower price point. A straight “X2C” with only incremental upgrades (slightly better cooling, slightly better sensors, another minor quality‑of‑life feature) wouldn’t be very exciting and might not justify the price difference.
Personally, it feels like an “X1C successor” only makes sense if it brings a clear new category (materials, volume, automation), not just a facelift. Otherwise the P2S + H2C combo is already “good enough” for the bulk of the market, and a new X‑series would risk being a niche halo product with limited appeal.
What do you think Bambu will/should launch next year: a true X‑series successor, something bigger for farms, or a completely new category none of us are expecting yet?
