I am a fairly new owner of a p2s and recently had to remove my nozzle from the p2s as it was covered with molten filament. After re-assembling I found this little metal pin on my desk:
did you find where it belongs? I have exactly the same issue. I removed some melted filament from the nozzle, and this metal pin came loose. So, where is it supposed to go?
unfortunately the pin still sits on my desk, I haven’t figured it out yet - but I also can’t see any problems without it so far. Even Bambulab-Support has no idea where it could be missing, which is disappointing to say the least - since I did not take apart the whole printer, just cleaned the nozzle.
Can you confirm the exact dimensions of the pin in your cases?
To me it looks like something left over from the manufacturing/assembly process especially as the printer is working fine. I looked in my P2S toolhead and there is nothing inside it the remotely resembles the pin!
Yeah, I thought that it might have come from somewhere else and not the printer but since two more people here experienced the same issue it is not very likely.
i own a P2S myself and even i dont know where a Pin like this would be, everything around that area you worked at has screws but no pins, honestly if your printer works fine, id say you can ignore it
May be, may be not… I’m always wary of first time posters that to gain numbers start their first messages in random topics with a line similar to “I have the same, how did you fix it?”
