Well, at least I only spent 4$ and not 60 for the Panda.
The panda works fully.
Iām worried for how long though.
Works just like Handy does. Nothing to worry about. BTT worked hard and quick to get it up and running after the change. There were 9 betas and the team working worked quick to fix any bugs.
P1S on latest firmware. Xtouch still working perfectly for me. Xtouch version 0.9.28 and P1S version 01.06.01.00
Do you need to have it close to the printers? still in loop, Iāll try and reinstall the software. Thanks
The Panda Touch, no. I have mine on the printer, but it doesnāt need anything other than the network connection and usb power.
Just starting out with trying to put together an xtouch and failed at first hurdle.
If you use the wifi tool it generates garbage
Replace garbage with correct credentials and it will not connect to 2.4GHz wifi.
Tried it on a mobile phone hotspot with same result
Logging says
[ 952][E][WiFiSTA.cpp:232] begin(): SSID too long or missing!
But SSID is only 5 chars !!
Tried 2 screens with the same result.
Tried different make SD cards
Still no joy.
Any tips would be welcome
Thank you
Nick
@Nick, when you say āIf you use the wifi tool it generates garbageā, I believe that is by design, this way someone cannot just look at your config.json file and get your wifi and more importantly your Bambu account credentials.
Regarding getting Xtouch installed on your screen, when you plug the screen in to your computer via USB cable, does it show up in device manager as a COMx port? (do you have the CH340 drivers installed?) I believe the initial install of Xtouch has to be done via USB data cable.
can I view the uploaded files and print it? I know this can the done on the PC but itās a plus for me if it does that
