You can now dry filament while printing

I (finally) updated my X1c to the firmware level needed, to use the AMS2 drying function, and was able to use the drying feature (I’ve got the additional power block, without it drying will not be possible on the X1c)
This worked during printing from external spool and from my AMS1
I didn’t try (yet ) the "drying while printing " on the AMS2, but this seem a good progress to me

So I have a P2S (latest firmware) with a single AMS2 Pro plugged into the hub. No power adapter. From everything I’ve read it leads me to believe that with only a single AMS, the power adapter is not required to dry while printing.

Low and behold, I try to dry while printing and it tells me that it has insufficient power. So what is the actual answer here? It’s been months in my case. So much conflicting information online about this.

Please read the thread and you will get your answer.

Same here now if only we could use 2 ams lites somehow
