I see. thank you so much for the fast response.
Check out this website too. They have at least one of my models on there and even used my pictures. They’re not selling prints, they’re selling the actual files!
I have no idea how to even report this website.
A lot of models from Makerworld, including the Exclusive ones.
I think you should contact them and demand removal.
I thought about contacting them, but I don’t want to offer them my email address or any way to potentially track me down. They’re already knowingly doing something illegal, who knows what they’d try to do to someone who tries to stop them.
Maybe someone who has an exclusive model can utilize the makerworld IP theft protection and report it to them so makerworld can take care of it.
don’t think you need to worry about that far, theres a women I report her every day for a while , she got taken down and then she re- list it again right away
Etsy do take it down after a day or two, and it just keep going on and on
Found this person by reverse-image searching my items. They’re not just posting stolen models, they’re also stealing the photos!
just keep report him, Etsy may lock his account once he got enough report
just an update, every time I report a seller on Etsy, her lists got take down, and she re-list it right away, and I have to report her again
she got her self few days window to make some money by keep doing it
and today I got few emails from that seller, she ask me to withdraw all copyright claim so she can keep her shop on Etsy ( yeah she got suspend )
she got over three hundred reviews by selling steal files from maker world, now she’s trying to tell me how hard she had to “work” for it

I have very few hours 3d printing and I don’t post 3mf or stl files but it seems like the people plagerizing print projects aren’t that into actually doing any work. Do any of you use the notes section in your slicer to add info that makes it easier to verify owner ship or since 3mf and stl files can be text edited, is there anyway to add a REM line to the file basically declaring license and ownership info to “maybe” make it easier to get a take down? I know this doesn’t really address the issue of people being scum and ripping other people off buut it’s maybe a possible tool. Yes, it’s easy to work around these but it sounds like the Etsy gremlins aren’t interested in doing any work. People who are really trying to pirate are going to be a lot more sophisticated and wouldn’t use images ripped off from a maker forum.
File a DMCA complaint to the hosting company.
Even when your model is in the exclusive program, Bambulab is unable to help you with IP violations if people sell actual 3D prints of your model and not just reupload the file online. They confirmed to me in a support ticket that they have no power do to anything against platforms like Etsy .
The listing on Etsy still remains and even Etsy is trying to make it as hard as possible to successfully report IP violations, I tried several times and failed.
for me reporting something on maker world is a lot harder then Etsy
Etsy do reply most claim anywhere from one to three days
as long as you got the exclusive model link on maker world
the problem is those seller re-list it right away
don’t think maker world can really tell any company take down anything
unless they are the one own those designs
Another Etsy thief… this one isn’t even selling prints, they are selling STLs. Plus they are using the pictures from MW with a background photoshopped in. I messaged a few people and notified them.

Articulate3D by Ahmet Mucahit Koc sells digital files in his Etsy shop without any questions
yep I just got notified that one of my designs was being sold there. @Maxx_Design you might want to get yours taken down too.
Thanks for the heads up, a kind user has already notified me a few hours ago, and I reported it / made a copyright claim. From my experience, this will get this guy terminated within a day or two if enough other designers reported him.
But what annoys me most: Some users have already purchased files from him, and there isn’t even a way to contact them so they could try to get their money back…
It never ends, always someone thinks they are smart enough to sell people’s designs without getting caught
I don’t message them anymore, just report and most of the time Etsy will close their account
