Having a high amount of profiles is not against the rules, my friends. They all align to the rules, they have tweaks per model, many with hand painted colors and supports, and every single one is printed with at least 1 picture, if not multiple - sometimes on multiple printers even!
I’ve been keeping my printers going for nearly 6 months straight now, a user of MakerWorld since Day One. It has been a blast! Paging through ratings several times per day is awesome, I get to see so many prints, feedback, and often compliments on the model or profile.
I have a ton of very positive interactions with both printers and model makers alike - particularly those who don’t have BBL printers and would have a harder time getting their models printed and popular without profiles - despite your claim of spam, the majority of my interactions on the site are super positive. This forum is the outlier honestly, y’all are unnecessarily hostile.
I have nothing against you and I support you as you just followed the rules and earning points is part of the game. Unfortunately, you are also an example of people using MW to farm point.
And there are still people who are jealous of it and complain that it should not be allowed.
So here we are
Isn’t the world ruled by this?
Clickbait is just a fancy word for marketing
low quality efforts = work smart, not hard
He’s always followed the rules, it’s just that the rules have changed with his practice.
When you see people complaining, I see people happy to download his models.
Where you see people complaining, I see people doing the same practice and envy him for earning points.
Stealing someone else’s picture? It’s immoral, but it was not forbidden in the guidelines. Like 3 months ago, half of print profile was just stealing picture from author model or author print profile.
So what’s next?
I will destroy every one of your arguments, as I know that no rules have been broken, which is why he is still here.
Please refrain from repeatedly uploading print profiles that belong to other individuals.
We also require print profile creators to include their own actual print images along with their print profiles to demonstrate print-ability.
Do not use other people’s profile pictures (he didn’t use other peoples profile pictures but he stole other peoples model pictures and either uploaded them as is or photoshopped them to look different. For example Cut out background, change color etc
he did broke lots of rules… such as not putting pictures on models. stealing models off people… stealing pictures off people. if you follow him or look at the posts that where here before its been a long time that he did refrain the rules such as not uploading print images to his print profiles
jesus… you really serious here man ? you actually need to specify written down in the rules to tell you your not aloud to take others pictures ? it was there since the begining in the community rules and guidelines. it always has been specified that it has to be your picture. so if you take someone else picture and download it or modify it it doesnt make it yours … come on now … thats pretty lame
yeah thats what i said too like … come on rules have been there all along for pictures… and doesnt take a smart one to know that you cannot do such a thing. not only thats it immoral its called stealing
