Like I said I do also get emails about new filaments, surveys…etc as well. So I’m assuming because I’m getting those that at one point I did sign up for the newsletter?
May 8th was an email about the new CMKY filament
May 6th was a survey about filament
Apr 26 was an email about silk filament
Mar 17 was an email about PET-CF filament
Jan 20th Paypal announcement email
Jan 12 policy update email
Jan 10 email about a survey
Dec 15 was an email about the Christmas Cabin
and so on…
Now call me crazy but to to me that sounds like something one might see if they are signed up to a company newsletter.
But I did try what you said. Entered my main email that I have been using with them this whole time to that subscribe section and nothing came through. Entered an alternate email and got a welcome notice 5 min later. So to me that says my main email with them is already registered.
Same happened to me, i’m sure i have subscribed the newsletter in the past, but just to make sure i try to subscribe again and it says to check email, but it never arrives the welcome msg.
They should use the email of purchase for this kind of campaigns, it’s a mess.
And, as others have reported, when you go on the homepage and try to subscribe, it tells you to check your inbox, which is empty. Which means we are already subscribed.
If I was supposed to have received the code, then I’m raising a ticket now with support
I have subscribed at the time of purchase and i have tried a few more times.
When i put the email there it says Thanks for Sign Up – Please Check Your Email, but i never get any email.
I think the newsletter is probably broken.
I’m curious, people who still haven’t received the code, did you also have to pre-order your printer at the time because it was out of stock? or was it readily available for purchase from the store?
@SirWill I’m an Early Bird purchaser. Purchased my P1P on 11/24. Just received my AMS coupon but still have not received my Gratitude Coupon. But a user that purchased 3wks ago received their Gratitude coupon last week.
When I first did that, my welcome email several arrived hours later. And just 30 minutes after that I got the AMS discount code.
So not sure If you just got the same issue or if the list you’re on is the newsletter already. Don’t the emails say at the bottom what they belong to? Is there an unsubscribe or subscription preferences link?
Yes I saw that now. But that isn’t exactly easy to find. That being a requirement should have been very clearly stated in the blog post.
I have tried signing up for the newsletter, but haven’t received anything for several hours (The confirmation email that the page mentions)
