Will be interesting to see how they differentiate this from the normal X1 non carbon. S can’t stand for small since it has the same build volume. Bambu is definitely pushing hard and I love it.

Maybe it’s an answer to the creality K1. I assume it’s a P1P, including all the things, needed to enclose the printer, like cable chain, glass door and top, MC fan and a dark plastic enclosure (maybe from X1). I like this. But I also love my self enclosed P1P. 
I don’t hope that the ‘S’ in P1S stays for ‘speed’, because this would mean, that my P1P is slow now! So I hope it means ‘special’.

I think it stands for encloSure 
Since it’s a dark gray enclosure I figured S stands for “Stealth”
I wonder if they are going to use the plastic side panels that the X1 on the P1S to keep it cheaper… I’m sure they still have the tooling and molds to make the panels.

I hope that they will sell the enclosure also to P1P customers. It’s a nice upgrade for the customers who bought the P1P as beginners and now want to test other materials.

You know, I’m not even mad or upset…I’m happy Bambu is growing, I fully enclosed one of my p1ps with the ARC kit, added all the fans and the charcoal filter. I print PC,PA CF,GF, ABS with amazing quality. I like the fact that I can see in from the side, remove the rear acrylic panel when using PLA, open my door 180 degrees or just pop the pins out and remove the door. I really want to see Bambu grow their printer offerings and push into the future. I just hope they dont change the AMS too much or leave it behind without a upgrade path because I have 6 AMS units to share between my 2 p1ps.
P1Sealed. Probably go for one if it’s $1099.

I bet it will be between $699-799, to compete with the K1…witch in my eyes is no competition. You got remote vieing with the p1p/p1s (for free), multi color capabilities , better slicer, hell the whole eco system is leaps ahead of the K1. I still cant figure out how the p1p and the K1 are both in the same conversation.

I thought BL was going for something funny like… P1S off Creality! Or some such pun…
This is so refreshing to see and I am happy that they are continuing to release newer models and also a new build plate, though I would have hoped that Lidar would work with it too, but still, full marks to Bambu for continuing to innovate.
I can only hope that we P1P owners do have the ability to get the enclosure separately since I already installed the original top glass and front door along with all the updates to Fans, hardened steel extruder/nozzle, cable chain etc. to both my P1P’s.
It would be a shame to have to buy a “packaged” P1S upgrade only but hey - they have to make a profit - so im not going to sweat about it - whats a few more spares in the drawer
On the price I think I am leaning towards a $699 to $799 price point but who knows. If its a “Carbon” version along with the enclosure, it would be more than $799. Wont really compete with K1 in that case. I’m not so sure Bambu is really looking to race to the bottom anytime soon on prices…after all their quality is next level. No one comes close.
All in all, happy - keep innovating - keep growing !!.

There is also going to be an X1S and an X1L according to the patents they have, so should be interesting, Hopefully the X1L is going to be a larger format.
they are selling an upgrade kit to change the P1P to a P1S for $150. a little pissed becuase i just finished upgrading my unit with an enclosure and all neccessary fans for about $200. i’ll call it even if Bambu updates the P1P software to turn on the MC fan’s PWM control.
Oh, I like it! The P1S Combo with AMS for 949U$ is a nobrainer! Fast printing with multi color… unique. 
I‘ve checked with my enclosed P1P with AMS… no need to update! 
The only thing for future upgrade is the chamber fan and the carbon filter.
