Bambu Studio Bug Reporting Thread

Hello, I am trying to print a model that I have painted two separate colors with using my AMS. Whenever I go to print it, I dont have the option to select two different colors, rather I have only one color selection.

I believe this is a bug as this has worked for me before. The biggest difference being that the project is multiple plates and has multiple components, but the different colors should still show.

Ikraus, thanks for your help. That checkbox was not visible in v01.09 but now that I installed 10 again it is there. I’ll play with the settings to get similar number of triangles that 09 produced, wish I made a note of them originally, I will now. Thanks again.

Problem: Using fill tool on a curved surface causes colour to bleed outside the required area on inner layers, spoiling the appearance of the final print
Studio Version: v01.10.02.76
Platform: Windows 11
Steps to reproduce:

Load model with an indented curved top surface. Use Fill Tool to apply filament of different colour to the indent.

Other information:

The top layer is filled correctly. The inner layers have colour bleed outside the required area. The extra plastic affects the final print when the plastic is not completely opaque. The model shown below is a switch cap of approx. 15mm sq, the indent of the ā€˜C’ is 0.05mm.

Hello everyone,
I accidentally discovered a bug today, it occurs on the user’s homepage.

Under the section ā€˜pinned collections’ the small information about the number of models and subscribers is mixed up.

(Nothing earth-shattering, but I wanted to report it anyway)
Sorry, this is my first post and I can’t embed photos.

Continued success
Best regards

If you want to pin a collection, the values in the new window of the collections you have are swapped.
I hope I have somehow made myself clear, sorry for that.

It looks like something has changed, the coordinates relative rotation numbers for X,Y and Z no longer work by scrolling when you drag the arrows?

I’m I forgetting to turn something on?

Which version ?

Hi, i think i found a bug when you combine Infill Layers.

if you print a fast moving, combined infill it ignores the Max flow of the filament settings.
I have high flow nozzle with 45mm/s flow but if i use a 400mm infill speed and a combined Infill Layer the max flow gets ignored and i have a flow of roughly 75mm/s which is the extruder max cap of my P1S.

It should be possible to limit the Speed so that the Max Flow of the Filament setting is achived.

Why can’t we boolean anymore in software that runs the printers we bought from you, a company that runs a site with Maker in the title?

Hi i just came from vacation and my bambu studio stoped working, if i chose a object ,try to slice or do anything in general it closes on its own.
Things that i have already tried: reinstall, install beta version, limit number of cores, update all the drivers, update java, installed orca to check and it works normal, i dont know what to do anymore it was working 2 weeks ago, the crash log i get is :

Problem: Bambu Studio starts on Mac OS but now window is displayed
Studio Version: 1.10.2.76 (also tried 1.10.1.50)
Platform: MacOS
Steps to reproduce:

Around an hour ago I started Bambu Studio and it asked me to download some updates (not the app, just some profiles or stuff) I accepted and after this the following happens:

  1. Open Bambu Studio
  2. (when changed the version) the dialog for the Network-Plugin shows up, does its stuff and closes
  3. Nothing else happens. The App is running
    grafik

also its activ in activity.app

Other information: Mac OS 14.5 (23F79), MacBook Pro 16" 2021 - Apple M1 Max

I created a ticket, but maybe others have the same issue.

Seems to be running again. Maybe a download file was blocking.

Bambu Studio info message blocks application from opening, even after re-installing

Problem: Can’t log into the BambuStudio Mac app with authentication services (google, apple, facebook) nor system browser login. I get a DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN error.
Studio version: V01.10.02.76
Plateform: macOS Sequoia 15.3.2

Same issue here on Windows 11 PC

I don’t know if this should be considered a bug report or a feature request, but there’s a problem to fix in Bambu Studio. When someone downloads a 3MF sliced for a particular printer, and they select a different printer to print with, some slicer settings don’t persist. Particularly, the wall generator reverts to Classic if the profile uses Arachne. I have several uploaded profiles on MW that require Arachne to print correctly. Any setting that isn’t specific to a model of 3d printer should persist when a person selects a different printer. The whole point of uploaded profiles is to make it easier for people to print models successfully. I shouldn’t have to warn people that my model has to use Arachne.

One more bug to report. I’m not sure if this is still the case with the new update, but in the previous version, I’ve seen an artifact on a model when using Arachne, that goes away when using Classic generator. The model is a can holder, and I use fuzzy skin and random seam. If I use Arachne, it puts a vertical line up the far right side of the model that looks like a seam, but isn’t. If I rotate the model, the line moves to the far right side again, wherever that happens to be on the model.
