Problem: Bambu Studio Calibration Flow Dynamics no AMS filament
Studio Version: 2.00
Platform: PC
Steps to reproduce: Open Studio, choose Calibration, Manual calibration (P1S), Flow Dynamics - there are no AMD filaments to choose only option is EXT and it says Incompatiable
Same here, sometime i succed to choose my ams filament, but when i lauch the calibration, the printer heat and nothings happen next. after 10min, the printer show āfailed to get ams mapping tableā.
No problem with my ānormalā ams prints
OpenGL error.
When upgrading to Bambu Studio Version 2.0, the new version gives this error:
āYou are running an OpenGL version lower than 2.0 which is not supported. Please upgrade your driversā.
But Iām running OpenGL 3.1 .
No issues with BambuStudio 1.10
Same problem here,
Also to add a little more to wich i think is part of the same problem:
When trying to print from EXT or AMS, you have to manually check the activate or deactivate AMS.
In Bambustudio v1.10.X you used to get pop-up with an error, and doesnt let you continue with the print if it wasn“t selected correctly.
In v2.0 you dont get the pop it starts the printing process but gets stuck in āheating bedā indefinitely wich is the same problem i had with the K factor calibration a few minutes ago (I was able to see the AMS in calibration after finishing a print frrom an AMS roll)
After restarting bambustudio I have the exact same problem as you and im not able to see the AMS in the calibration tab.
I will do more tests and update if i find any solution.
If nobody finds a quick solution, the best option seems to be be rolling back to 1.10.x as sadly the version 2.0 sems to habe been released in a beta state at best.
Edit (not a solution but some new info to diagnose):
I“ve gotten Bambustudio 2.0 to recognize the fillament in the calibration tab,
And this seems to be Iwas able to see them before, not because i was printing from the AMS as stated above.
To get the fillaments from the AMS to appear in the calibration tab yo have to:
From the device tab click on load any fillament from the AMS.
After that they shoud be visible in the calibration tab.
You wont be able to calibrate tough as when you try it will start the printing process but it get stuck in the āheatbed preheatingā state.
More news on this matter (bad news):
I“ve uninstalled bambustudio 2.0 erasing aditional user settings, reinstaled 1.10.x also tried not sincronizing any user information when login in, and now it“s impossible to calibrate new fillaments, it gets stuck preheating the bed.
So probably will have to try with Orca.
Edit 2:
Tried with Orca with the same results.
Also have done a factory reset of the printer witout luck.
Considering all the tests it seems to be a problem with the user acount or some change in configuration that gets saved in bambu servers after updating to 2.0.
Also saw a pst in reddit by u/erroneusbit that says that says that configurig the printer for local only (lan mode) seems to work, wich reinforces the theory above.
I don“t plan on switching to LAN mode as I don“t want to lose the extra funcionality that having the printed conected provides.
But it coud be a temporary solution if in a hurry.
Hope it gets fixed soon as it is a big problem, more so if you factory reset the printer like i have done, and lose al the fillament profiles.
Here is an issue where I place the model, then move the purge block, but I cannot move it further as it is maxed out. Once I slice the model, I can see in the āPrepareā view that its shape has changed. After this change, I am able to move it and slice the model again. This issue causes me to lose time. @SupportAssistant Screenshot 2025-03-26 155327|684x500

Youāre pretty fast. Has the time problem for a split between a high-frequency nozzle and a standard 0.4 mm nozzle been solved for H2D?
since update and also bug fix update today - the progamm crashes during slicing at ca 80-90% . there is no crash note ore error info.
So can not use programm and printer for days
The log-in issue is not resolved.
the issue i mentioned is still there⦠pretty anoying please tell me once fixed, thank you
Studio v2.0.1.5 on Windows 11 when trying to slice (crashes at 15%) regardless of what settings I try (tried for both X1C and H2D). No error shown.
Studio 2.0 AMS problem. When I sellected to print with filament on spull 4 it use filament 2⦠I tried to downgrade to 2.0.95 but it is still the same. It always use spull 2, also synchoronization doesnāt work properly, the numbers are incorrectly assigned to the spulls.
I still canāt login, with the new patch
Try uninstalling Studio completely, reboot your machine and re-install the latest version of BS you have. I had a similar problem a few versions back and tried everything and could not get rid of the problem until I followed this process.
It worked for me no guarantee it will work for you.
I reinstalled it again, to the latest version. Only a blank Log in window appears. I tried it on another computer, and the same thing. The old version worked. Something must be wrong with the 2.0 version.
I posted a main topic here:
I canāt figure out how to add a bug-report tag to it. But basically, Iām seeing a major change with a print of mine between 1 and 2.
