hi all,
i have an issue with dialogue boxes in bambu slicer, they are blank. I’m on Windows 10. so dialogue boxes for ‘set filaments to use’ is blank for example, although the ‘filament settings’ works ok. there is also no ‘home page’ when i open the software, it’s blank.
It’s been like this for about a month now, so i updated to latest version of bambu slicer, but still not fixed. Other programs i use on the laptop work ok.
Anyone else have this problem?
It’s been interesting reading the issues posted, but I’m not seeing anyone from Bambu providing a “Solved” with any information about how it was solved. “fixed in the next update due xx/xx/xxx” ?
Where are the solutions to these issues?
Github is where issues “should” be posted as that is where the source it located and development happens. I’m not really sure why this thread is here…
Don’t you have to sign up for GitHub to be able to post there? As opposed to those who have already signed up here and would like to get issues fixed here.
The thread was started by @BambuLab , I’d expect updates to be posted here for reports made here and Bambu have asked for these reports.
Be careful for what you ask for, you might get it…
I’m not sure this qualifies as a bug but something has changed when enabling support with support material. Bambu Studio used to ask about changing z gaps when using support material but now it doesn’t. This caused a problem with a couple of prints recently until I realized the pop-up wasn’t appearing anymore.

Signing up on Github is just like any forum - set a user name and password. It is free and open to anyone.
BambuLab did start this topic, but there is little evidence that they monitor it or respond to issues raised here.
Issues submitted on Github with appropriate information, logs, and models are seen and are often corrected.
Then it would be REALLY useful if @BambuLab edited their first post to say that…rather than it being 122 posts down.
For anyone having the same problem:
Phew, it’s fixed! thanks to this reddit user:

It was a problem with Webview2 (whatever that is)
Problem:
When slicing the saucer from the link below for the A1-Mini, using default settings with a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height, no potential errors or recommended adjustments are offered. In this case, supports were required.
Steps to reproduce:
Load the saucer.stl file and slice it.The print will fail as it prints the outer bottom ring 16 layers and then tries to print the bottom center of the cup. This results in a failed print due to it printing 16 layers up and tries to print in the air.
Steps to verify:
I loaded the same .stl file in PrusaSlicer and the warning pops up and recommends supports.
Thoughts:
If Bambu Slicer is based on PrusaSlicer I would have thought that the warning would work the same on both slicers. Now I will be tempted to open all my .stl files in PrusaSlicer to check for warnings and then slice them in Bambu Slicer and make the appropriate adjustments. That is an added step.
Other information: Windows 10
Thanks
I am having an issue where the infill pattern will not update even after selecting a new infill and slicing the model.
I am trying the “Glass PC” thing. I originally selected the Concentric infill, but wanted to test other infills. However now when I select other infill patterns the model does not update when sliced and prints the concentric infill every time. However, I am able to change the top layer pattern for some reason.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Note: Would love to make a post about this with an image, but Bambu Labs has not graced me with the ability to post on this forum. Despite buying a $2,000 printer.
Same problem here, don´t know how to solve it, based on my research it has to do with fps and NVIDIA graphic cards.
Amd gpu, same thing… did you find a fix?
Problem: Bambu Studio crashes on Windows when adding STP file
Studio Version: 1.10.0.89
Platform: Win 10
Steps to reproduce:
- Open Bambu Studio
- Import some STP file
- Got new table “step file import parameterts”
- After move the slider to the right the app crashes
Thanks, seems the changing the language works…
Problem: X1 Carbon prints prime-line / purge-line right over Flow-calibration
Studio Version: 1.10.0
Platform: MacOS
Steps to reproduce:
- Open Bambu Studio
- Slice a model
- Print model and select Auto-flow calibration
- Observe flow-calibration followed by prime-line right ontop of it instead of top right corner of buildplate
This behavior is not mentioned in the Changelog and could cause parts of the flow-calibration to get lifted off the plate and deposited in the first layer.
Attached image shows line right ontop of flow-calibration (bottom section).
Not sure if this is also occuring without flow-calibration but regardless the spot is wrong.
It’s mentioned in the Beta change log.
There is a typo in many versions of Bambu Studio in the Dutch (Nederlandse) language mode, and it drives me crazy every time I want to print something. Please fix this issue, as it has been there for far too long. Bednivellering is not a real word; it should be bed leveling.
Kind regards,
Robin
how do i attach a image to my post?
