Bambu should enable locking of the access code, so between power cycles the access code is retained. This way you wouldnt have to enter a new access code on the slicer/app to view the camera.
I turn my printer off if I’m not printing overnight/while I’m at work. Having to put a new access code in both the slicer & app every power cycle is a bit of a pain.
Bambu Labs, please stop this madness. There can’t be a security argument being we are asked to cloud send all of our prints. Lock the code down or allow it to be disabled.
Strange … today i did some shimming on the heated bed. For this i had turned off the printer completely for at least 1 hour. The access code is still the same. Have the latest firmware installed. Never “lost” my access code before, except if i had to do a factory reset which it needed after the firmware upgrade to 01.02.02.
No way to reproduce your issue. Did power cycle the printer with LAN-only mode on and off, forced to router to assign a different IP address after power cycle, the access code didn’t change. The only way i could force the access code to change was to set the printer into LAN-only mode and back again. After re-binding the printer to my account the access code had changed.
I want to understand what is the access code. I see my printer in wifi list. But yesterday i send an sliced objekt from my twoer pc to the p1p and nothings run.
but the display says, please confirme the access code,
i didnt find a solution.
Bambu Lab, Please fix this soon, I’m sick with that, We need some option to lock or save these access code, no one would like to retype those code every time after turn off printer like this, it is a pain in the butt.
Same here with my P1P. Having to enter in the code every single time I turn on the printer makes the camera completely useless to me. I turn my printer off basically after every print. Please fix this.
I’m on the newest firmware (1.02.03.0) and I also have to change the access code only after changing the WiFi settings on the printer or disconnecting / reconnecting it from / to the cloud. Simply powering off and on again (next day so) doesn’t require to enter the access code in Bambu Studio or Bambu Handy.
I don’t have to change the code every time, but I do get the problem intermittently. I believe it matters when you activate the camera.
I’ve never played around with the WiFi settings after it was set, so I doubt that is my issue. I simply send the job to the printer and start the camera. However, sometimes I start the camera early and that seems to be when I have the issue. Not sure if it is before sending the job or during the job send, but I have seen some correlation.
Happening with mine as well. Every time I turn off my printer, it generates a new access code on startup and I have to update my phone and slicer settings. I even have the printer on a static IP on my router…still the printer changes the access code on startup. I just got my printer on Tuesday and updated the firmware right away. Was this not a problem before?
