Apparently, there is a high probability that this is a scam. Maybe a good thing to keep your eye on though.
Watch out. It’s all renders and no product or even any contact of who is doing it or how it’s being made. I would hold my horses, if i were you. Remember, they are asking for money to lock your place.
l00p – the world’s first desktop 3d print recycler – L00P
offical link for those interested
that sh1t is also advertised here
and their scamming website
No contact info, no physical address, phone numbers, no business registration/VAT number, nothing to allow for checking them out on whether they’re legitimate or scammers…
Wouldn’t trust them with my money .
That sucks. I think the next best thing is $6,000. If bambu produced one, it would be the perfect counter to the filament waste argument.
Sadly, it’d sell if someone could make it a reality. This is a scam no doubt, but if it were real I’d buy it.
I signed up for email updates yesterday. Thought it’d be cool. Until I saw the price…
1400.00 early bird special, to be a beta tester can buy a lot of filament
Don’t give them a cent.
Really wish what they are claiming were real though.
Just like all Recycling. 97% still goes to the dump. Follow the $$$
Guardio picks it up a malicious site and blocks access…
I saw this for the first time on instagram yesterday and got right excited until I did a little research and found a bunch of threads like this across the internet
This is what I’m waiting for, a Bambu produced filament recycler. Then, and only then will we enter a golden age of artisinal filament production where users will be able to produce their own, unique, funky colours. We’re talking some of that old school, homestyle filament just like Grandma used to extrude.
I would buy a filament recycler before upgrading my printer to a multi tool printer.
Imagine getting 1 PETG poop in between your PLA poops and recycle extruding that in to a new spool…
Nightmare incoming!
That will never happen, cuz if it does, a huge chunk of manufacturers’ revenues, including Bambu, will be gone… and eventually, some of them will go out of business.
