Ill let you know in a couple of month, it will be running 24/7 as soon as I receive it. I will order one tomorrow. If its reliable, I will be ordering a second unit as well to replace my P1s.
I donāt get why people are so upset about something a company has decided to produce. Vote with your wallet - if you donāt want one, donāt buy one. I donāt get the vitriol. For a lot of people, this is a great printer that solves specific problems for them, including myself. For a lot of others, it isnāt, and the great thing is thereās a lot of choice out there.
I only spoke, because you were speaking about other peoples feelings.
Ill go away now. Enjoy
@Hamstah Iām not gonna lie, youāre not wrong, companies build āaā machine based on their research, and like it or not, thatās it. But we have to accept, people have the right to complain. It really is that simple. Its a forum. And as such, we literally come here (quite specifically) to hear different opinions, so thereās no point in trying to suppress them.
I have no desire to supress anything anyone wants to say, I just donāt understand why people are so angry that a company is putting out a product. I donāt like Apple products, I would never buy an iPhone, but I donāt hang around on Apple forums raging about how upset I am that the iPhone 17 is terrible in my eyes. I also am not upset that some people like iPhones - if they want them, thatās great - enjoy.
Ha. I know I said I would go away, but feel i should explain myself better. Im probably going to order one without even watching reviews. I just wish they did the same thing, but split the toolhead in half. This would cut multimaterial and multicolor print times in half. The purging time is the main thing i wanted to go away. Id have to believe people dont like the 2 minutes per color or material per layer. I also jnderstand that some think they only want 2 colors or materials. I have a weird way of talking myself into wanting things too. This is why ill be ordering oneā¦most likely.
I just have this weird thing where i can criticize something as im hitting the buy button. I cant think of a single thing in life, that doesnt have some downsides.
I hang out here because i have 2 x1c, a p1s and 8 ams units. Along with the 3 bambus ive given away. A customer. Right now i have over 200 rolls of bambu filament. Id say im very supportive of the company
I really cant believe so many people are open about not wanting to hear anything bad about something theyre about to buy. Or even hear how it could possibly be even better. I personally want to hear these things first. I also want people to speak up that have experience, so that the machines get better AND more efficient
Sounds like an addiction paired with regret.
Nope. Just a legit 3d printer enthusiast. Love you too buddy
Edit: Wasnt being honest. I am addicted but i have no regrets besides buying the flsun s1 pro
Just having some fun, not trying to be mean
Has anybody else already practiced checking out fast on the bambu website? lol. Im ready, bring it on
I have all my gift cards in a spreadsheet numbered so I dont make any mistakes. LOL
If youāre on Windows I will continue on my life mission to recommend that everyone using Win+V for clipboard history instead of going back and forth copying and pasting. Good way to rapid fire paste many gift card codes
In before the website crashes while in checkout and the giftcards end up in purgatory.
I wonder how many minutes the built-in benchy will take this time? Last time that demo sold a lot of printers.
H2D offers (on paper) twice the acceleration and a higher flow rate, so even with the (assumed) extra mass of the printhead, Iād be surprised it it werenāt faster than an X1C.
Iām interested because it appears to offer a number of improvements over the X1C. I wouldnāt be surprised if it came in at a lower price than most people are projecting and the X1C price to go down to remain at least nominally competitive with the likes of the Elegoo Centauri Carbon.
That said, I think @maximit hit the nail on the head when he said, more or less, āIām not looking for cheap. Iām looking for reliable.ā I like that a lot about my X1C: itās a solid printer, and I donāt worry about running it overnight, because of its added safeguards plus metal and glass construction.
Im guessing flsun s1 speeds but at x1c quality or better. So, an alpaka in 2/3 the time of an x1c
Wouldnāt it need a cpap blower to achieve that? Just asking, as I donāt know.
I havnt seen what kind of cooling is on the h2d head, but the ports are big. The aux fan looks big too. The flsun had to use the annoying cpap because an aux fan doesnt work with a fixxed bed. Imo cpaps are for fixxed bed printers and nerds like me that buy stuff just for the bling factor. I also noticed the ports on the h2d are more downward facing than normal. I think thats smart. The port design is really cool when you look close. How they flow, angle etc
My feelings on speed are based on the specs. Before we saw them, i assumed it would be slow.
Thats the only thing that is missing for me on the H2D. I have dual-AUX mod on my X1 and P1 for better and more symmetric cooling, and looks like the H2D has a single AUX from the photos.
Otherwise they covered all my other mods, chamber heater, air filtration, high flow hot end. I cant complain about the features!
I wonder if they licensed the CHT from 3DSolex or came up with something new for the high flow hot ends. Also if they did license it, we might see official high flow hot ends for the X1/P1 series as well.
My only concern is the hot ends are cooled by air flow from the part cooling ducts. I hope they have some way of keeping the air flow independent for when you print ASA/PA with no part cooling, but hot end cooling being required.
How did I not know this was a thing??? Thank you for bringing this revelation to my attention!!
No worries mate - I always appreciate opposing opinions, and maybe it wasnāt fair to take it out on you. Iāve just seen so many people on the subreddit and these forums crying āthis is going to be a complete flop - bambu sucks for releasing thisā without actually having seen the thing in operation.
