Imported filament configuration not selectable in AMS

I have imported some filament configurations into Bambu Studio, but some of them like eSUN are not selectable in AMS.

After that I imported the profile from Extrudr and it is selectable in the AMS.

I opened the json files in the editor, but I don’t know what to change to make it display in the AMS.

What do you mean by make it display in the AMS?

I can’t select eSUN PLA-Matte because it isn’t displayed in the menu.

Not sure what OS you are on or what printer But the few I have done i just copy the supplied json files into the appropriate user directory (windows is like /user/appdata/roaming/Bambu/… I don’t have that machine up so can’t check) there are posted links in other threads on here. I don’t use /default/… but the numbered one.
Also, seems like some one else was posting about eSun and their issue was that it wasn’t listed under eSun, but something like Basic or PLA was the first word in the listing.

Importing filament profiles

Using Bambu Studio 1.10.2.76 I bought some eSUN PETG HS*. As many of you know eSUN provides the json files for their filament. I downloaded them extracted the files, opened studio, went to file, import, import configuration , selected the json files and hit ok or save or whatever the button is. However the new filament profile is not showing up in studio. I’ve tried looking this up myself, but I’m at work right now so I don’t have a whole lot of time to dedicate looking at old, possibly out…

How to share filament profiles between nozzles?

I am new to Bambu, and almost as new to 3D printing. I’ve only had my P1S for a few weeks. I have both .4mm and .2mm nozzles. I’ve spent most of the past couple of weeks learning all of the settings and functionality of the printer using the .4mm nozzle. I just installed the .2mm nozzle tonight to try to get a handle on that. The problem is that only one of my filament profiles are available for it. The rest only show up with the .4mm nozzle. Also the filament name does not show up on the device/AMS page as far as I recall (don’t have access to a slicer at the moment), it will say Generic PLA or something. The filament name does show up in the drop down on the prep page in the drop down where you add or subtract for multiple spools, or select nozzle.
