I dont know much about the others, but most of what diode laser are, are inside the module itself that just needs power to it, so if its the same for infrared, perhaps. Fiber is out of the question though =\

well… the optional kit will be sold seperatly if i am correct ? but the full combo kit with the laser should be available straight away as if we want to upgrade ive read that the pump will be outside and meaby not as efficient ??

Bambu lab should have used your picture to introduce us to “let there be light”.
By the way, it was nice from Bambu lab to change the picture today to a laser. That was totaly unexpected and a nice surprise!
It feels like bambu lab realy cares about there comunity with how they started the release.

Allow me to express (serious) doubts about this “care” thing… If the past 2 years of Bambu “experiences” have taught us anything, it’s the fact that Bambu doesn’t (even) bother to care about anybody, especially about its users’ community.

I think it will be a slide on attachment to the front panel and then will be able to do something revolutionary revolving around the prints.
I hope the release some fume fan or something so I can use the laser module inside without having to cut a hole in my wall to vent out the fumes.
I know, you told me already and you have the experince with bambu labs support and everything. I just like how they entertain us now with everything they do.
It could be just a once in a lifetime situation, but i realy have fun how they entertain us now with this printer release.

Haha yeah, I know it’s just PR manipulation but thinking about the individual aspects of the printer and thinking about what changes I would make in my workflow got me hyped! It is fun.

Yep, and you can read any of the (probably 10+ by now?) threads about it since we have all the leaked specs.
I had the same thoughts earlier! Yours is much better but this is the first thing that came up in my mind when I saw the image
