Mid print layer shift - same layer every print

I’ve been trying to figure this one out with no success. I’ve been printing these for a while, first on a Ender v2 and now on a Bambu P1S. All of the the cases in the photos show the same layer shift in the mid section of the print. I think it’s slowing down and bringing that section in just a bit. The inside of the case has the same line.

Trying to figure out what I can do to prevent this in the future. Haven’t been able to figure it out on my own.

Using Bambu P1S
Various print speed settings from .20 to .12
Polylite ASA, black, white, etc
bed 97
hotend 260
smooth plate, textured plate

Same lines in every print.

This is not a layer shift. This is known as the “Benchy Hull Line” effect. There are lots of threads about it.

Beginner prints & quality concerns

It is not a shift. It has to do with the fact that the bottom is pretty solid and the walls are not. They contract and shrink differently due to cooling and that is what comes out as the lines around the bottom. The poor quality of the bottom where the support interfaces with the box is a result of the fact that the slicer is leaving some space between the top of the support and the first layer of the product. Layer Shift

Hey, everybody. I have a problem with layer offset on my P1S (firmware 01.05.01.00, mileage: 40 hours). With all other models, no such problem is detected. Both before printing this model and after. Magic, I looked it up and tweaked my settings. Changed the wall order and checked the box for thin walls. The lower line is still there because it really slows down the print for that overhang but it got rid of the large spot. Thank you for the information.
