I’m not understanding the error above. I had 4 slots in my AMS on the P1S with different color ABS materials. I removed the white PLA from slot 4 and put in a white ABS. Im trying to print a 1 color bed scraper in ABS. In the slicer, I can see the AMS has detected the ABS in slot 4. i selected slot 4 under object to print the item, but when i print i get the error “Only the AMS slots loaded with the same material type can be selected” and can only print in ABS from slots 1-3. next I unloaded slots 1-3 so only the ABS exists in slot 4 and get the error , please clock each filament above to specify its mapping AMS slot before sendng the print job. When i go back int the AMS settings i get the original error again “Only the AMS slots loaded with the same material type can be selected” what am i doing wrong?
I’m relatively new to BB Studio and had the same issue just a few days ago, I got round it by doing This
Thanks for that. i will give it a shot.
i figured out the issue for me, hopefully same for you, on the prepare page its showed a bunch of filaments. i wasn’t sure what this was till looked closer and pressed this button:
once i did that, everything was recognized properly and had no issue. now if your not using bamboo filament, I’m not sure this will work, but perhaps steer you in a direction that may help.
My workaround has enabled me to mix and use any BBL filament with any other type from any manufacturer in the AMS such as say Sunlu PLA, ASA, ABS, PETG as long as you tell the AMS that all the filament in it are all the same.
