P1S Failed print with bed trying to lower

Once again another failure during a long print with my P1S, 1 hour remaining on a 15 hour print and the printer just went crazy and did not respond to pause or stop commands on the touch screen, had to manually power off the printer.

I have submitted a support ticket but it will likely be days or weeks before it answered so wanted to see if anyone knew the cause of this issue. Attempted to upload a video but had to link it instead.

That’s new one to me.
I’ve never seen that issue.
I wonder what cause the Z to continuously drop like that.
How long did it sit there grinding away?

What FW is it using?

I let it run about 2 minutes where I tried to stop the print before flipping the power off.

Running FW 1.5.2.0

Have you replaced the stock SD card with a name brand one?

The stock SD card that comes with these is known to cause random printing issues.

No, I did not know what was an issue but I can replace the sd card.

Yeah, just copy the files on to a new more reliable card.

Before I replaced my card I would sometimes see strange behavior (prints pausing for 5-10 seconds) and prints would fail for no apparent reason.

If some of your G-code was corrupted on the SD card, it might have sent it a command to lower the plate indefinitely.

I can’t guarantee that will remedy your issue, but it’s a staring point.

Purchased new SD card, printer worked without issue for a couple days then did the same thing halfway through a single color print.

On the plus side my network connectivity problems seem to have disappeared.

Waiting on support for help.
