opening a ticket in the bambu store.
That’s a bold move. Let us know how that goes lol… It was painful enough canceling the laser H2D I ordered without accessories. YMMV
Someone on Discord this morning claims they got a voucher for 40% off filaments and 20% off accessories. They put in a ticket. I guess (as usual) it’s all down to who you get on customer service. Some are helpful. Most are not…
I got what I assume to be a 20% code for filament and one for accessories. Perhaps it’s 40% though, I should check.
I received a refund on my accessories order. Definitely won’t push it, but with time to think, I bought additional accessories. Did not end up buying any filament, but if I had a code, I would end up shopping for some stuff.
Before even ordering the printer, ordered a bunch of PLA and PETG from AliExpress.
How long did it take to get the email with the code? I’d like to use the code myself but they were out of stock of accessories by the time I canceled/reordered the printer…
Bambu Lab being short sighted with a release? Whooda thunk it?
I wonder if the language barrier keeps them from actually reading the posts on this forum.
What other reason would they have to ignore all of the complaints about customer service and recurring software bugs?
Im one of the people they chose to not help with this. My final amount of accessories was $1,500. Probably why they said no. Would be nice to see consistancy. Or atleast seeing all the items added to the store at the same time, instead of them trickling in over the first 2 hours. We also wont be able to use the discount on the filter, rotory tool or ams ht. So later buyers will get the nice discounts.
I can understand not wanting to “engage” on the forum. I understand they would end up being the brunt of many users’ dissatisfaction.
But actually paying attention to the larger posts of how people feel about things like customer service and addressing software bugs.
i.e. the P1x FW 1.7 bug where a print randomly aborts after many hours.
Why have they not addressed it?
It seems they only ever address issues raised by the 3D printing YouTubers that mention these things.
There is a whole wealth of suggestions by people here dedicated to helping other users get success with their printers and we feel ignored.
My point is, BL has such a huge chance for greatness and even after several years, they still can’t seem to get there by missing little things like when rolling out new products and discounts for their die hard users.
It’s customer service 101.
I have tried to contact/answer them for 5 times.
I was only asking for a discount of the PEI Sheet that dropped after my purchase and the non available high flow nozzles.
After the first response was positive (“you will receive discount”) I was asking how they will manage it (“will I receive a voucher?”)
After this, they told me that there was a misundersranding and that I will not receive a discount. Since then it is always nearly the Same answer:
"…You can find the discount information for random purchases in the product confirmation email.
For discount information for high-flow nozzles and PeI plates, it depends on the sales strategy when it becomes availale"
I think I am talking to a bot. If not it would BE quite dissapointing if the “sales strategy” was really that they are offering the smooth PEI Plate later thank the printer.
If anyone has any luck with the discounts report here please? I tried again and no luck. I am not really on any social media to make them pay attention to my plight but if someone with more clout was to comment maybe they’d listen…
Chat denied a partial refund but after I expressed my view that that was very unfair but I wasn’t going to argue they said I could try opening a support ticket. I did that and it’s still pending. Might be worth a try.
I was using tickets without success (See above)
Seems like the codes are not working for anyone on reddit either. I wonder if those code are universal and they are giving the same code to everyone?
We probably need to see if we can get someone official to look at this. When you factor in the savings on accessories on buying build plates, a set of 2x each hotend, and the HF hotends, the savings can equate to another AMS (HT if not a Pro)
Luckily I saw the accessories pop up right as I was about to place the order. I got the 0.2, 0.4 HF, 0.6 and 0.8 hot ends x2 and the encoder plate. I did miss out on the smooth PEI and filament though. I did open a ticket, everyone should. Squeaky wheel gets the grease as they say.
I opened a ticket… support just giving me the brush off. ![]()
Sounds about right. You have to be lucky to get a good CSR…
