It would be nice if we could flag threads on this forum. Slow-mode or just locking would cut down on a lot of useless bickering.

如果論壇裡能給貼文加標記功能就好了。慢速模式或直接鎖定貼文可以減少很多無謂的爭論。

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks! It’s been a while since I was a newbie on a Discourse forum.

You could start by enabling the filament track switch for H2D as well, allowing it to be used at least in prints that utilize both nozzles on the shared area of the build plate…

I purchased a Bambu Lab printer specifically for multi-color printing, and for the past six months it has been a constant source of frustration.

My printer has repeatedly failed during multi-color prints. These aren’t isolated incidents or the result of one bad file. Every print seems to fail in a different way, most often ending in spaghetti or another error before the job is complete. My latest print failed five separate times before it was finally ruined. This has been happening for six months.

The support experience has been just as frustrating. Every time I contact Bambu Lab, the response focuses only on the most recent failure instead of the fact that this printer has consistently failed to complete multi-color prints from the beginning. I’ve spent countless hours troubleshooting, following every suggestion, sending logs, and repeating the same process over and over.

At this point, I no longer believe the printer is functioning as it should. Instead of replacing a unit that has been a problem for months, I’ve been asked to continue troubleshooting with no end in sight. It feels like I’m being given the runaround rather than a real solution.

I wanted to be a long-term Bambu Lab customer, but this experience has completely changed my opinion of the company. I can no longer recommend Bambu Lab based on either the reliability of my printer or the way this issue has been handled. A replacement printer would have restored my confidence, but after six months, that still hasn’t happened.

It’s currently being tested in a public beta:

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing problems with your printer.

Can you please send me the Ticket ID via a private message so we can look into the problem and find a solution?

Thank you.

Maker world should completely ban the type of models " the most tiny 3d something something"

These are just garbage and add no value to maker world repository.

We should also have a flag report option for models that serve no purpose or don’t add any valuable real life use , not even as a decorative object

For some reason I don’t see a way to create a new post :frowning: No button/option for add a new topic.

Upload times are irregular, some of my prints are verified in minutes but I now have 3 of the 4-5 I uploaded and have been pending for hours. I have 15 or so uploads to do today and some of my followers are waiting on them. Why does this keep happening? Is this an account based issue or is there something I can do to avoid these delays.

Here’s a tip: If it’s time-sensitive because of a specific date, you can upload it a few days early and set it to “hidden.” Then, on the day of release, set it to “visible.” Problem solved.

It doesn’t make much sense to upload time-sensitive 3D models on the same day. Sure, it’s a bummer when the verification time varies, but in that case, you can easily work around it.

And again … the same ■■■■ : mails sent without any consideration for the users’ chosen language for communications.
Do WAKE the f**k up, Bambu!

I didn’t subscribe for the Japanese newsletters

I am sorry to see you are experiencing problems still.

Have you tried to use the “unsubscribe” button to see if this fixes it?

Please also send me a private message with your email, and we will double check

Thank you

MakerWorld should give original designers more control over added print profiles by other users.

If someone creates a profile based on another designer’s model, the profile should provide a real contribution or improvement. Simply changing layer height and infill and calling it “Super Fast Printing” does not add much value.

MakerWorld also should give points from these profiles always to the original designer, since the profile is based on their design. Otherwise, users can earn points from someone else’s work, which can also raise concerns about intellectual property.

The original designer should also be able to remove profiles that are poor, misleading, or add no real value, while keeping profiles that genuinely improve or add something useful to the model. Especially if the points always go to the original designer.

I think this would better reward the people who actually design, develop, and test the models.

This removes much of the incentive for third parties to develop new profiles.

What about new profiles that alter designs, add new parts, or fix genuine issues with the original profiles?

The better approach is a royalty-based system, where the original designer get a cut of the points and the new profile author also gets a cut, the ratio could be determined by the amount of work that went into it.

You have a “should be able to” but then an expectation that the original designer will use that power in only the right way. That’s a fantasy.

In practice, giving the original creator unilateral ability to remove profiles is a nonstarter. It will be badly abused, capricious designers will remove everything that isn’t theirs, or worse, download the model from the new profile, take down that profile, and then re-upload it for themselves.

The current system allows anyone to report abusive profiles, Bambu could improve this by using automated analysis to see what is different in a profile - if it’s just a minor settings tweak, yes, grant the takedown. If there’s more in the profile under report, send it to a human to review.

It brings up a point though. To post profiles means redistributing the files. Maybe they are changed or have better settings, but it’s still redistribution of other peoples’ IP and if the license says no redistribution or modification, that is a violation even if it is just a different profile on the original creator’s model page.

Anyone posts a profile on my pages in violation of the license and I will be asking for a takedown.

But they won’t post other profiles on my pages. I don’t have the thousands of downloads that draw those people like flies to a pile.

There is absolutely no reason to think this is an altruism thing. If it was altruism over issues with a design, legitimate users would contact the designer — not post their own profiles pre-emptively. If the designer says it’s ok, fine. But these arguments seem to be about justifying doing it in spite of the owner’s wishes.

I could see letting people post improved profiles but not with taking points from the original creator and even that is gray. People who create things need to be able to protect them. That’s why there are patents, trademarks, and copyrights in the first place.

Designers need the right to reject profiles they don’t want for whatever reason they have. It’s their property. There is no right in any of this to modify someone’s models to skim points.

Let’s not let this place turn into a ■■■■ hole where everyone’s work is skimmed and stolen. We cannot tolerate letting others redistribute work and skim points.
