I’m a fan of Bambu PLA but usually order other brands because of Amazon’s speed, but I planned ahead this time. I ordered a few rolls from Bambu recently and the ETA is 2 weeks after the day I ordered. Is anyone else experiencing this long of a delay? I also ordered an A1 Mini on the same day and it arrived in 36 hours.
I don’t know where you are located at…
I ordered filament last week 2 days apart & they both are supposed to come next week, after Thanksgiving. I’m in the US.
I’m located relatively close to Bambu’s warehouses (I believe they’re in California and I’m in Arizona). I typically receive filament orders in about a week depending on when I place the order (weekend or not). From your username it looks like you could be clear across the continent, so two weeks using ground shipping doesn’t seem unreasonable.
I placed an order for filament and the levitation kit a few days ago and a check shows it as unfulfilled probably because of the levitation kit.
As we get closer to Thanksgiving I bet they are having people take vacation time. Orders may take longer to ship especially as volume picks up as people prepare for the holidays.
I’m in Manhattan so that makes perfect sense. I believe there is a NJ warehouse that ships printers so I assumed filament would be in the same location. Thanks.
I’m in Manhattan. Where are you?
I should have thought about the holidays. My industry is quite dependent on shippers and I should know better! Thanks.
Yep, Florida
I was looking at import records to see which factories/ports they’re using, anyway, unrelated BUT I did see that a 40yd shipping container of filament reached a US port on the 22nd, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what everyone is waiting on.
And then there is the Black Friday sale going on too…
I’m in Kansas. I believe both my printers shipped from Texas. Most of my filament does too. From Texas, it’s usually 3-4 days to get it.
I’ve had a couple orders of filament broken up, with a couple coming from California and some from New Jersey. California takes quite a bit longer than New Jersey
I recently ordered another printer, filament and MakerSupply parts.
The printer arrived two days later, had I of ordered a little earlier in the day I imagine it would have arrived the following day.
I am donating it to a local school with a curriculum and little funding! If they get through my gift card redemptions, I’m ordering some more printer and filament stuff to donate to the school.
The filaments, oh these stupid delayed launch wood filaments, I have no idea when they will show up, the great way BL refuses to acknowledge what it is sending, what is coming or when from the balance should win a “why inform the customer” award.
Same goes for the MakerSupply parts.
Sometimes I only find out the day they arrive by the horrifically poor DPD sharing with me it will arrive in an hour! BL sends the delivery notification and tracking details after delivery.
To me the big company seem so slow…
I was going to order my P1S from Bambu direct…but 5-10 days for delivery And it was going cost £15 uk money lol…
So i order from another company next day delivery and it was free…
me being in Cyprus… Just two weeks?
Yes, ordered like 11 rolls 13 days ago. Tomorrow will mark 2 weeks. (I am from Europe, regularly my orders arrive two days after they confirmed shipment)
Support has finally admitted today that there is a shipment issues after two responses that were like “sorry because of the sale, it will take anywhere from 1 to 7 more days for your order to ship”.
I am not even sure if I was talking to an actual human, felt more like an AI that gave me the same response to my questions with different wording.
Order 11/20 Delivered 11/26
Order 11/22 Delivery 11/29
So not bad, even with the holiday.
I ordered on nov 6th… they let usps know they were gonna ship on nov 7th…and havent head from them for a while. I tried to contact them on the 20th to see why my order hadn’t even left their facility and was told that because of the holiday rush they were backed up. They said " please no worries that it will return to normal transit status within 1 to 7 days(from today).". I am currently on day 6 and there are no changes. I live in hawaii so im kinda used to longer shipping times… but it hasen’t even left thier facility. So im due to wait extra long… pretty annoying
Sounds like you got the same response that I got: Did anyone receive the new TPU? - #5 by luro02
I guess 11 days really isn’t too bad, considering the delays that others are experiencing. But on the other hand, is there anything keeping me from trying brands that I can pick up from Microcenter or have in 24 hours? I like the convenience of the RFID but I’m sure I can get over it.
