Shipping Update

4PX is located in China. It looks like they are importing the printers into the US then eventually (in my case) getting it to UPS. In my job I integrate and consolidate tracking information from carriers around the world and we know that customer experience is very important.

This experience has been very bad. I did get notice last Thursday that my printer would be delivered today. I saw a bit of movement of the package including a departure scan from Cerritos, CA (which seems to be 4PX US location) with no further scans. It kept saying delivery today even narrowing the estimated delivery time but given the lack of scans, I knew that would never happen. Finally at 5pm yesterday they said a ā€œSignificant Weather Delayā€ is delaying your package, we will update delivery time soon. If it was really going to be delivered this morning (latest estimate) it should have been very close (I am in Connecticut, USA) and we have having very nice weather the last few days and the next couple so there is no weather delay here. I know they are having bad weather in California, but that should have resulted in a delay earlier in the process.

This continues to be just a terrible experience. If they just kept the customer in the loop and let us know what was happening, it would be a lot easier to accept. Maybe throw in a small store credit or a free plate or filament or something as a matter of good will. Or at least refund the $35 shipping cost since they aren’t meeting the shipping requirements that we paid for.

When did you order it ?

This will not make people happy, but I think I got very lucky:
I’m in the EU (Netherlands), ordered it 3/14 and it arrived yesterday (3/21).
I guess I’m lucky to have had a batch incoming to Germany already and DHL is pretty quick with their deliveries.
They delivered from Grolshelm, which is about 250 miles from me.
That’s nothing to am American, but you could pass through 2 other countries on the way there…

Man, that printer is fast, you people are in for a treat!
I hope the logistics gods look favorably onto you…

I ordered on 3/3. Finally got movement, it showed up last night in the large facility near me, then early this morning in the local facility and is now out for delivery. Of course I am not home today and it needs a signature so it probably won’t be delivered, but I least I know where it is now.

The bad part for BambuLabs is that after this experience, I probably won’t buy filament from them.

Lil disappointed, because expected to get it before April, and i very disappointed how customer support communicates, without exactly date, reason etc.
Very easy for customer supports team be nice and explain everything and give more information.
I hope it will change soon.

Ordered AMS 3/20 and from what I can see the AMS units will not ship until after April. Nothing on the ETA etc for the website. Just a note ony order that everything else shipped and the AMS will ship end of April.

Got my Tracking number today :smiley:

After a long period of no tracking updates, I had a lot of activity in the last 2 days in it finally arrived yesterday (3/23) as well (3/3 order). Close enough to Mid-March I guess, would of been nice for better communication though.

Can’t wait to get it setup and running :slight_smile:

Doing so well so far, Bambu stated ETA end of March for delivery, 23 March, today got my tracking, which has been updated to will deliver tomorrow, 24 March I am over the moon :last_quarter_moon_with_face:

So you ordered AMS on the same day as me… When it said ā€œend of Marchā€ on the product page. The next day the page changed to end of April… Not a great feeling tbh… I am wondering if they will honor the original quote and i would hope that they would send out an email explaining if they are unable to do so…

Hi k4rp, I think ā€˜for now at least’ the emails are only sent automated, It would be a large task to watch each and every order and send personal emails. From my experience, and others wondering where their order is, there is no need to worry, and the new date of April I guess would be if you ordered today.

That said I do hope your order is on time.
