So I have had my H2d little over a month, already had the extruder apart 2 times, replaced the heater unit Left nozzle and now have one waring from my HT exhaust valve 2 malfunction and now the left extruder will not let me load any filament i am getting an error telling me to remove filament from, left nozzle. I can manually extruder it so there is nothing stuck in there.
So I would like to know if everyone is having these types of issues or am I just the lucky one. I am coming from Flashforge AD5M machines that did this crap all the time, always something! I dropped 2 grand for this box of bolts because everyone convinced me that Bambu just prints and prints and prints. Well it’s obvious that is NOT the case. Yea I know all of you Bambu boys out there gonna tell me “this is a hobby” or “this is how 3d printing is” well that is bullcrap!
Other than support tickets, is there a customer service contact? I know Bambu could careless as they have my money, almost like they sole it from me, but I want to let them know how truly pissed I am. And you folks that just take this crap from Bambu are the problem, as long as you keep fixing the machine and never speak out Bambu is just fat and happy.
so tell me is there parts just junk or what…. There is no reason any sensor SHOULD go bad in less than a month. Why buy this crap if it breaks all the time? Everyone says Bambu is the best , LOL if thy are the best I sure don’t want to see the worst.
I found the first 2500 hours to be pretty flawless. Now every few hundred hours it needs some work; usually easy part replacement, belt tension, etc.
@truckeic these are precision mechanical devices sold at a decent price for what they are. Parts will fail and you may run into a faulty part. Support is very good about warranty replacing problem pieces.
Precision machines huh? Yea I guess when they work. So am I to understand, just buy the flagship top of the line printer but don’t expect it to live up to the advertisements they post. Support is good? Yea I guess they have no phone number just support ticket system. Faulty parts? ok ■■■■breaks got it, but a month into ownership is disturbing. It really comes down to cheap parts and bad quality control. I should parts 2nd day in the first 6 months of ownership. I have products I am selling and need a priter that can print. I got better service from FlashForge and the Ad5M is junk as far as I am concerned. But, this printer does not seem too far behind. I would like for someone to tell me would you accept this from say a new television or washing machine etc. I bet not. The truth is, many of you I guess started when your assembled your own machines and tinkered and such. That is fine you expected to work on it but those days are long gone and I should not have to consistently work on this unit weekly! is Prusa any better?
In my experience support is incredibly poor at replacing parts and activity gaslight you. My power supply bearing sounds like a excavator going over the road but they say that’s “normal” they also say scratches on the y axis rods is a normal thing from factory.
I have about 20,000 hours on bambu machines, had 4000 on H2D and now 2000 on H2C. Like any complex machine things breaks, but overall they are the most reliable printers I have ever used.
I had three H2C units in 4 months had to send two back and looks like this one will end up back too. Either I’m extremely unlucky or their quality assurance is lacking lately
You need to learn to diagnose and service these machines if you are going to own them. They are not like a regular consumer product, they require maintenance and repairs. If you want a turnkey 100% reliable 3D printers, no such thing exists unfortunately. The bambu wiki is full of good information and guides.
I’m also replying here, since you’ve been posting everywhere recently to say that you’re unhappy with customer support. Here’s the short version:
All of this raises a lot of questions. You bought printers for nearly $9,500 and are now returning goods worth roughly $7,200. Something doesn’t seem right here, especially considering that live chat support blocked you for reasons we don’t know. Also opened a second account to get around that.
I don’t want to go over everything again, but something is seriously wrong here. It would be interesting to know which one is actually your main account. Since this was the first thread you arrived at… it raises some questions.
So much negativity in this forum recently. They might as well be the same people, or at least I am putting them in the same category.
You put it well…
These are the hard to deal with folks. They dont want solutions, they want to complain.
Idk what makes people think these machines are magic. Especially when they have used 3d printers in the past.
Tell you what, I have had nights of sitting in front of a printer, cursing at it, praying for it to work. Its not fun. But I rather put my energy into that than spending it on crying in a forum.
I bought two units. One was returned to the reseller due to not meeting UK consumer rights laws. I put it down to bad luck. I then bought a unit directly from Bambu lab which was returned and replaced with the current unit.
The laws are very clear when it comes to goods classified as “New”
I have been using 3D printers since the MK2 prusa I’m well aware of maintenance and being able to perform maintenance including diagnosing electrical faults and repairing them.
What I refuse to do is have to diagnose a machine less than a month old that costs two thousand GBP which is advertised as “Not a toy” from a company who claims it is as simple as plug and play.
Also this is my main account which is blocked from live chat. I would also like to know why my account is blocked but Bambu lab won’t actually answer that question. I haven’t been rude, not by conventional UK standards at least. I haven’t called anyone names. I did question the quality of the products and the actual amount of quality assurance being performed on each machine. I can assure you this is my only account that I have ever used to speak on the forums.
Support is there to help you, not to discuss the company’s quality philosophy or the legal situation. They’re just regular people, and their time is valuable - so they don’t have time to deal with customers who aren’t solution-oriented and not cooperative.
You’re mixing up troubleshooting with a formal legal complaint. Keep those separate. Support = help. Complaints regarding company policy and legal matters = contact Bambu directly. Support is not a legal assistance.
In that case, the seller is primarily responsible, not Bambu - after all, you signed the contract with him.
With that attitude? You’ll run into that problem with every 3D printer company.
You didn’t even take a minute to read my post and you replied right away. You didn’t even think about it for two minutes. Now I get the problem… especially when viewed in the broader context.
You quoted the fact I bought my first printer from a reseller. But not the replacement that was from Bambu lab directly.
It’s also worth noting that Bambu labs customer support also happens to be Bambu lab. They are the same company after all.
If Bambu lab customer support actually did troubleshooting instead of telling you to raise a ticket because and I quote “they are not technicians and can’t troubleshoot printer issues” then it wouldn’t be so bad.
What I don’t like doing is waiting 3 days for a reply that says “hello Bambu lab customer, we are sorry to hear you are facing issues.
Please send us another video showing the printer QR code (located in the top right corner of the device) and the issue you are facing.
We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Bambu labs.”
When they already have that information.
My previous point still stands. If they do not want complaints on the live chat, do not have the option asking for complaints.
