The first one could be an option, but it looks small, the other two look very flimsy
compare the items on the side against the shelves⦠Iād say itās reasonable sized, snd you could put another one on top, or next to it.
Need 36 inches to put an ams on a p1s and open it. Without riser. If internet numbers are correct. Could put printers on top and use the lower shelves for ams units. It is kinda low bang for buck but also more reasonable for a small room setup
Yeah, You could lower one shelf and have 2 levels of printers. Looks sturdy
You know that you can move the shelves up or down, as you need it, donāt you?
Glad I could help you guys. Have fun with it.
Looks as though FLSUN has yet another T1 variant out, now called the T1-U, currently priced at $399, or $429 if you get it with the āsilent moduleā upgrade. Thatās very close in price to the T1 Pro, now at $459. For a difference of $30, why even bother offering a separate model at all? Is it the Creality strategy of saturating every possible variant by offering to sell separate models for every variant?
Theyāre no longer even listing the original T1 on their website. Wow, that sure did come and go in a hurry! How long was it for sale? Two months? Three months? Now gone. Erased. Deleted. Expunged. Disappeared like it never happened.
well the competitors are making their moves, right in time for x-mas salesā¦
@BambuLab we are aware that youāre still dealing with whatever issues that need to be ironed out, but i do recommend that if possible at all that you donāt wait till next year to release, as to not find yourselves in a place that you only compete for business / high budget consumers and leave a lot of the market untapped
They could easily release some teasers that would help people wait.Hard to wait for something that you only know will be larger than 265mm and nothing else really. And not having a concrete release date isnt reassuring
Admittedly, we can only guess, but considering Crealityās track record of falling on its face time and time again with the K1 series, doesnāt it seem more likely than not that the same will hold true for the first of its K2 series? And given that, doesnāt it seem especially overpriced for being what appears to be a largely rip-off design? I thought knock-offs were supposed to be priced cheaper, not more expensive. OK, itās a rip-off thatās scaled up in size. Iāll grant you that. Theyāre tapping the huge pent-up demand that has nowhere else to go and which is willing to overlook their history.
For $180 I donāt regret buying a refurbished Creality CR10 SE as a dedicated TPU printer. Itās good enough for TPU, but I doubt it prints PLA or PETG as well as an A1 does. If Creality suddenly started to produce top quality 3D printers, it would be quite a departure from its history. Maybe it has, or maybe it hasnāt, but it will take more than an ad campaign and early-access reviews before I believe it.
Well in terms of specs alone itās well above the x1c so your comment on pricing isnāt accurate. Indeed we will need to see real life testing to understand the quality, but the sneak peak of aurora tech looks promising, and this is a great target price for these specs
I disagree. Rushing a product to market is never good. Look at the original K1 - it had so many errors and child diseases. Even though the K1C has remedied this, a lot of trust in Creality was lost due to the rushed K1.
Is K2 Plus rushed then? Maybe not, but itās not perfect:

The very ecstatic reviews we see right now of the K2 Plus, may be misleading - and the fact that it sometimes forgets its settings and ignores the ones from the gcode is highly disturbing imho.
So no: Bambu Lab should definitely not rush to compete with the K2 Plus. Iāll much rather wait 3-6 months more on something that has the A1-, X1- and P1-series experience, than something which could require manual tinkering to remedy.
EDIT:
The Next Layer has also found some oddities; fx. multi-color prints should not be below 0.20mm layer height.
You have to actually look into it. Its very impressive. Creality isnt what everybody here thinks it is. It does what bambu would charge $4,000 for. Nearly everything in it is higher quality than bambu hardware and its open source klipper design will make it fun and community driven. Things like idex and tool changers will be possible. Klipper klipper klipper lol
Everybody rushes sometimes. Look at the a1 recall. Hard to think bambu didnt actually test bed motion and cable strength.
If Bambu had brought something similar for the same price, i would already have 3. But apparently creality was able to. I plan on getting one when there isnt a long waiting list. Probably after the first big update.
in general i agree, but bambu is starting from a whole different position than creality is coming from i even doubt if the timings are due to actual technical constraints, or if itās a matter of clearing āold stockā
no printer is perfect, and we will definitely need to see even more analysis, but overall itās pretty good, the best iāve seen from creality, and the issues identified in this video looked to be software related, which is something that can be worked on in ongoing development
@StreetSports Will you be getting one? Iād trust your review.
Yeah, but im going to wait until they are in stock with fast shipping. Maybe after the first big update. Kinda tired of always being the guinea pig for these companies lol. They need to polish software completely before release. Instead of throughout 5 updates post release. Probably what Bambu is doing right now.
Edit: Unless Bambu shows me something better before that time comes. Theyre crazy to not be releasing teasers right now and pushing hard for a mid december release. Everybody is about to blow their money on christmas gifts.
@StreetSports It occurs to me that rat-rig sells a milling kit. I bet thatās what theyre using to mill your aluminum parts.
@NeverDie
Yeah. I wish they would also hurry up with it. Been eyeballing a milo v1.5. I was hoping they would have one set up at west3d, but they didnt. Apparently, its gigantic. like 500mm wide or something. They did have some cool stuff though. Like a watercooled Voron. I felt at home among the nerds lol. Finally, somebody that knew what I was talking about, in real life even haha
Wow the ratrig is in stock now. Thanks man. O wait, i need to wear my glasses more. Guinea pig stuff again
IIRC, you get a discounted price for being beta, so at least thereās that.
Yeah, definitely heās building up another print farm⦠good for him⦠Iāll be waiting for the new Bambu flagship release and its reviews before deciding anything on acquiring another printer. Larger print volume is interesting and welcome for as long as it fits snugly in my existing work space. But aside that, having an easy swappable nozzle/printhead, heated chamber, easier access to its inner works (electronics, mechanics) allowing for hassle free replacement and/or maintenance, stable and reliable firmware/software and repeated and reliable print quality, no matter the type of filament used, that would be my main attraction points when purchasing a new printer.
Edit: But as it currently appears, Bambuās competitors have definitely picked up the pace, and whether theyāre copycats of X1C/X1E or not, thereās definitely a race between them to launch appealing printers, that provide most if not all what users have been ranting about since the launch of X1C, 2 years ago, while adding improvements and perks. Thatās a win for us. Now, as I see it, Bambu might be late to the party, but it could transform this into an advantage, noting what the competitors came up with and taking steps to include or add what really works into their new flagship⦠(donāt we all wish that)⦠But somehow I think that Bambu has already decided what the next printer will be like and have⦠and unless what they plan to offer is going way beyond what itās currently offered, I donāt think weāll see any real changes except for size, heated chamber and some other small stuff. Perhaps Iāll be proven wrong⦠I sincerely hope so⦠but until Iāll see their new flagship and hear from regular users how good and reliable is, i reserve my decisionā¦and judgment.
@StreetSports You might be interested in PrintNC. Theyāve been at it a while, and I just now noticed that theyāre on version 4 already. Itās a parametric design, so you can size it big, small, or somewhere in the middle. Also, 100% open source.
