Sorry, I should have been more clear. I meant vents built into the side and front panels of the printer itself. So that a riser isnt needed.
nope. nothing available from what Iâve seen until now.
Later edit
Actually, I remember seeing an enclosure model made for P1 series, that could be adapted to have air-vents included and printed as such. Donât recall exactly where Iâve seen it, but once Iâll locate it I will PM you the link.
Check your mail, Jessie. âŚ
Youâve already started?? Your productiveness sickens me! You actually made me look at my West order history, that kits been under my table since JANUARY 26TH lolâŚ
Hey, you started my brain down this rabbit hole.

I had wrongly assumed, because of his extensive early access, that this reviewer would be a 100% shill, but he actually reveals a bit more than the others, not less. For instance, he notes that the 10 to 15 units sent out to reviewers⌠well, heck, just hear for yourself. I set the timestamp to go directly there:
He also notes the difficulty they have been having with the layer lines on large scale prints, which confirms my earlier suspicion as to why NBR might be limiting his printing to stupidly small objects. At least this guy didnât hide it, so I give him credit for that.
All that said, itâs still early days, and they still have time to fix things before more objective second wave reviews hit youtube, probably not long from now. Iâve seen the street price at 20% off, so if youâre in the market for it, maybe consider that as an easy way to save $300. That does put it in close proximity to the X1Câs black Friday pricing, with its larger build volume and heated chamber as sweeteners. Maybe higher print speed as well? Not sure. It would be nice to see a head-to-head comparison on that, as Iâm sure weâll be seeing before long. That will be the heavy weight fight worth watching.
It would certainly be fun if one day Project Farm did a review of 3D printers!
It still needs to work𤣠neat features and all. I canât believe how dead crealityâs forum is. I would have figured it would have been the busiest 3d printer forum in the Internet.
Yes, itâs almost a complete desert on the Creality forum. And youâre right: by sheer number of end users, it should be the largest and best. However, itâs anything but that.
Prusa and Bambu Lab have the best forums that I know of. Qidi doesnât even have a forum of any kind to call their own, although there is a straight-jacketed Facebook forum that has sprung up to fill that vacuum. Until just very recently I had never used Facebook before, and Iâm just amazed at what a lousy platform it is for a company with such an enormous maket cap. Discord is a far better platform than facebook. You canât even post a URL link in facebook without the post being taken down and subjected to review by a human moderator. Pause for a moment and reflect on that. Hyperlinks are central to the entire concept of the world wide web, and yet Facebook is designed to completely crush that. Itâs a giant step backward.
The thing about forums is that, unlike direct customer support, they scale very easily. Even better than that: the more people who participate, the greater the leverage and the more effective they are. Itâs safe to say that any company without an effective user forum is just stupidly shooting themselves in the foot.

About 2 weeks ago, i posted a question on the prusa forum. Ive gotten 1 response. I think almost all companies use facebook now. Id bet the bambu facebook page gets more views than here.
Im confused because the prints look good and he is yet another person saying its his new favorite printer.
More of the details came out early this morning. Itâs the adventurer 5m modded to their AMS. So, non-enclosed and no camera, but it does have ethernet and wifi. It does use a different hotend/nozzle system, more like the A1 does than what the 5m/pro uses. I would guess there might be an AD5X Pro at some point. One of the unique (?) selling points is that the flashforge AMS can allegedly handle TPU. Just 95A? Or just how low in softness will it go? MSRP is $399, if youâre willing to wait 60 days for shipment. More if you want it faster. Minus 10% if you filled out their survey before today. So, $359 at minimum vs an A1 or A1 mini with an AMS.
Actually, looking at the photo, I donât see how it could be enclosed, at least not with a lid. SoâŚMaybe there wonât be a pro version. Nah, it should be possible. But still handle TPU? That is the question. Build it tall enough and sure, no problem.
My guess was that the spools will also be enclosed. Atleast, thats how I would do it. I would have put 2 spools on each side also. All the weight on one side seems odd. Especially since the weight will change as you use the filament
Iâd say that who came up with theâŚdesign, isnât the brightest âlight bulbâ in the company, but then again, it seems that the other âbulbsâ, in executive/decision making positions, arenât that bright either. Iâd have gone for using both sides, more in the manner Prusa did with its XLâŚMore balanced and easier to enclose.
