It’s not that tall it’s on a stand.
What if that isn’t the H2D, what if there is another printer release we are unaware of. Also the printer is not much taller than an X1C.
Doesn’t look like the shape and size of the leaked H2D. Chances are, based on the apparent size, to be another X1 or a P1.
Nothing on his website (in Dutch): https://www.lay3rs-retail.nl/
Good point. Especially since it’s not see-through, it’s likely not part of the print chamber. Or, it could be some kind of integrated storage space, drybox, filament dryer, annealing chamber, collection bin for printed parts, giant poop pit, plastic recycling shredder, plastic pellet filament extruder, housing for a huge print drying turbo blower, a place to keep your old X1C or P1S, … Can anyone think of what else it might be?
Not really, how does taking the picture of the X1C and making it smaller prove that?
Th X1C is scaled based on the size of the AMS. AND the AMS PRO 2 has basically the same size as the AMS so…
it could be a K2 but I doubt it, they are not selling Creality printers.
But it’s definitely bigger than an X1C ^^
How do you know how big the AMS Pro 2 is?
Based on the leaked manual we saw, I think it is safe to say it will only be a little bigger in x and y.
Or, some random stuff under a sheet!
Why not ask Hank chatgpt to perform perspective correction and angular size calculations to determine the dimensions of the object under the covers. Would be a good use of compute…
@spinlokd I doubt chatgpt could do any better than what Henlor has already done–unless by a longshot it could identify that exact paneling and use the known distances between joints from that to drive the scaling–but if you can prove otherwise, please do let us know. You’ll never know where near omniscient access to the world’s data can get you if you don’t try.
Aha! That’s useful. So comparing those dimensions to and X1C ( Physical dimensions: 389 mm x 389 mm x 457 mm), it’s maybe larger by ~100mm in x and y. That falls short of what some of us were hoping for, but definitely a meaningful improvement over the print area of the status quo, and probably beating K2 and the Qidi Plus 3 and Qidi X-Max 2. In <$2K range, only some of the bed slingers would be besting it in x and y.
Edit: oops, hang on, it would maybe be close to Prusa XL print dimensions then, as those are 360x360mm. Maybe/probably(?) a tad smaller.
I was trying to make a funny…
All in good fun. It’s like that game GeoGuesser. It’s incredible what a person or a group of people can infer from just a photo. But definitely more fun as a group activity, where different people all chip in with their unique insights.
Yup It could be anything. But IF it’s really a H2D, that means it could be announced very soon
Bambu did say “first quarter of 2025”, so, it could very well be The One .
I really hope there will be an announcement soon. I am considering my 4th printer and I like the intergrated eco system I have now with my 3 BL printers. But With the prusa core one being at a pricepoint that nears the x1c I might even buy my first Prusa.
But having said that: I have high hopes for BL and their new printer. If its half the step forward as the x1c was I am buying the “fill in the name here” printer from bl
