The printer detects the job but can’t download it from the cloud

Hi. I’m from Russia, and since October 21, I’ve been having issues with cloud printing. The printer is online — when you send a print job, it uploads to the cloud, the printer sees the task, but can’t download the files. There’s no error message; the download just never starts. At the same time, you can’t cancel the print job from the printer — only by rebooting the device.

I’ve temporarily switched to LAN printing, which is inconvenient.

Maybe someone knows how to fix this? I haven’t tried using a VPN for the printer yet, since sharing it from my phone isn’t very convenient.

Today, October 22, the situation has slightly improved — the printer has started downloading print jobs, but extremely slowly. Even a simple scraper, which is a very small file, can take 5–10 minutes for the printer to download.

At present, the problem is no longer observed.

Hi Having the same problem today I have 3 printers 1 A1 and 2 P1S and the file sends to printer but is taking so long to load onto printer from cloud tried resetting printers and computer no joy :rage: my network speed is fine at 500mps

Same in EU. I managed to continue printing with LAN only mode turned on.

Hey guys

In Russia this issue has become relevant again. Initially, I thought the problem was related to government actions — something being blocked and the Bambu cloud ending up in the same subnet — but it seems the problem is global in nature.

Denmark, 2025-10-25 @ 13CET : Slow uploads and extreme slow download, often broken at 10-15% of an 2MB file. On otherwise perfect GBit-connection with no wifi problems. Latest BambuStudio and lastest firmware on the P1S. Restart of printer and computer did not change. All was working @10.00 (former job printed ok)

i started a chat with bambu lab but the ignorre that there is an issue. I persent they talk to the technical team and escalate. I was promised they would do that. But a ticket could take 1 to 2 business days time… I then asked so the printer is wordless without there cloud and got the advice to use the MicroUSB drive… I also asked about Local Lan options, but this was not possible they said with my P1S, but i thought this was possible before, but don’t know how to set it up.

where did you find this network test ?

They just added russian language to it in the latest update, who will say. Also some people are reporting it on:
https://allestoringen.nl/storing/bambulab/

also people from the US:
https://downdetector.com/status/bambulab/

wist niet eens dat die ook bambu storingen bij hield

ik ook niet, dacht doe een poging

there own status page does not yet say there is an issue.

I have also let them know by chat about this topic so they know it is not just me

Guess I need to start USB-swapping again, like it’s 2010 again. Got stuff to print , money to make!

I don’t think that will help as I have 3 printers and none are working!! So can’t be an sd issue it’s a problem with Bambu server
Hopefully will sort it out soon fingers crossed have no idea how to set up 3 printers on LAN always worked through cloud so never bothered looking into any other way :see_no_evil:

exactly! just kept sending the file and its magically gone through now! so SD card excuse is bulls£$%
