That person clearly failed geometry class in high school
It’s not. cloud print generated gcode behaviour is on par with one sliced with the studio.
It’s often the case really - when there’s too much resistance it’s a way to check for the tangle. I had this happen to me couple times and every time it was filament either on verge of tangling or stuck between the wall of the spool and the roll.
This would be great: “print profile confirmed printable on [PRINTER], no further ratings necessary”
Wow, was there a tank under that gnome beard? Incredible.
Seriously though, that is misleading and WILDLY annoying.
Gnomes getting out of control with the shenanigans
The best one yet
I tried to wipe my screen where that period is…
I’ve asked “with what” but I guess the problem is not with, but within
Yes. Yes it is. That’s why I made it. So why did you print V1 if you printed V2 and it worked great?
This is the same user’s rating on V2:
I had to stop before finishing the printing
Fair enough, I assume it went horribly wrong, can we see a photo?
Erm, that looks great, clearly works, obviously printed perfectly.
You said you removed it before it finished, yet the photo shows the top surface.
I’m confused.
its easy… when the filament retracts at the end if you got 99% of the print done as the last layer is finished but the filament didnt rewind on the spool properly, well you wont be able to rate more stars. IMO models should be able to get a 5 star starting from 99% as this is an issue with their ams system
And the worst part is that that model only has one other review (five stars, thankfully), so my average 3.5 stars, which is less than 4 stars. So basically I won’t get any points from the profile. Amazing. I really hate this review system.
There should be a way to block or restrict impact of profile ratings from users that changed the profile in a way that made the print failure possible…
Also - who would disable brim and why? Removing brim after printing is no problem while possibility of issues are too great to compromise on that 0.01g of filament
Yup! I had one recently that scaled a countertop item down by 50% and then said it was flimsy…Yes. I bet it is. The walls are half as thick now lol.
On multiple of my models after one mishap I deliberately mention “no scalling”
Maybe there needs to be a captcha on model downloads that verifies the user has more intelligence than the average rock before letting them have the model?
Weird one as the complaint didn’t result in a poor rating. But, I go to great lengths to provide information people still seem to miss.
but a little smaller than I expected.
Erm, I provide all the dimensions in the description and one of the main images.
Keep in mind, it is called “Gyro4 mini”.
Not for uploads though, I don’t need more roadblocks to entry!
