Tree supports breaking during print P1S

I have been having issues with my P1S for a while. While tinkering things have been improving, the print quality has been spotty during the print. The tree supports break during the printing process. It should be noted that I am using in these photos pet-cf after drying the filament for 6 hrs at 90C, I have also had this issue with pla and petg.

While here, I also want to ask about the quality of prints. The bottom typically is in far better shape than the top, with the quality becoming more spotty as it progresses. It wouldn’t be as big if it wasn’t for the pet-cf prints snaping towards the bottom when trying to remove.

I do appreciate the help that this community has given with troubleshooting, thank you.

Edit: This was after I slowed down the print speeds by half and dryed the filament.

You clearly have a flow issue. If you aren’t using a known good profile for your specific filament, get one and use it.

If you haven’t done flow calibration and pressure advance (in that order) for this filament, you should do it.

Filament sticking to nozzle P1S

I have been having this issue recently with my P1S after getting a new hotend (phaetus conch plus). The first few prints were fine, but there is a recent problem with the filament. It will extrude from the nozzle, but it won’t stick to the hotbed, instead latching to the side of the nozzle/sock. It just drags and tears the first layer (see pics). P1S prints too stringy and weak please help

I haven’t had these problems in the past with my P1S, but lately my prints have been having nothing but issues with my prints lately. Even after cleaning/lubricating the machine as recomended, I still am getting these issues, even after many cold pulls. That white calibration cube is pretty bad. Imo youve got a mechanical problem, in the extruder or heater or nozzle. If you have spares of any of those on hand, nows the time (imo). Depending how old the printer is, support might be of help in getting some parts sent.

Currently I have 1 stainless steel 0.4 nozzle (stock), 1 hardened steel 0.4 nozzle (the one I’m currently using because of the carbon fibers), 1 hardened steel 0.6 nozzle, and one Phaetus Conch Plus 0.4 nozzle (worked in begining but had issues and switched back).

They haven’t responded to my further updates in the last two days as I am still having these issues.

I am still in communication with Bambu Labs for this, switched from a 0.4 to a 0.6 amd still having issues. I am starting to suspect that the extruder might be part of the problem, given the detritus that I had to clean from the inside.

So, just to gently point it out with a big friendly smile: this is basically exactly what was already recommended to you back in your first thread in July. This isn’t a criticism at all - I’d simply want to kindly encourage you once more to take a moment to revisit your older threads.

You could also quickly check what your extruder gear looks like - it’s a quick process. As far as I know, the P1S doesn’t come with a hardened steel extruder gear assembly. You didn’t mention how old your printer is, but that could be the cause of the problem.

I did get the panda claw as the first upgrade when I got my printer, the gears still look fine though it may need replaced. I am also considering if the panda metal extruder would help too.
